Close to everything in San Francisco: The flat is a short walk to grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops, bars, dance clubs, shopping and much more. You can walk to MUNI/Subway lines K, L, T and M which take you downtown, CalTrains and all the museums. The above ground F Line Cable Car goes to Fisherman's Wharf. Non-permit street parking is available in the neighborhood. And, the views are amazing - on top of the hill overlooking Eureka Vally and Twin Peaks. Our son found us this spotless, tastefully decorated flat (just a few blocks away from his tiny apartment),with all the comforts of home. The view was amazing.
We walked down to the Golden Gate Park, a neigborhood market, the Castro station and Buena Vista Park. We enjoyed the early am antics of a black and white cat visiting the rooftops and balancing on tiny rails.
It's the perfect place for those want a little space in the center of San Francisco, from which to experience its treasures.

The Perfect Place to Stay!

What luck to find this gem through HomeAway! Every bit as wonderful as it is advertised and then some! Even though it was only a short walk down to The Castro and connections to public transit, this apt was a quiet little sanctuary. Gorgeous views day and night. Accommodations were tasteful and comfortable. We truly had a home away from home. Lovely, quiet neighborhood. The host/owner was friendly & helpful though one would never know he was even there. We were cheerfully greeted and then given our privacy. Delicious food at any number and types of restaurants is just around the corner.
We never drove any where. Public transit is close and so easy to use. I had purchased a special pass to see a few of the sights and transit of all forms was included, we just waved our passes and jumped on. Muni subway, cable cars,electric trolley & buses.. The network makes it so easy to get around and hardly ever a wait. We could truly see the sights without any of the hassle of driving and finding parking.
For any future trips to The City we will hope to be able to stay here again...once you find the best, why bother with the rest? Thank you a hundred times over Romanus for all your help, dining suggestions and hospitality!!!!

The place was great for us who used the public transportation. The Muni station was a short walk away and took us any place we wanted to go. The walk back at the end of the day is uphill, The neighbourhood is clean and safe. The house was clean, quite and had everything we needed to prepare meals. Very comfortable house Grocery store was a short walk away. Romanus was a wonderful host, and willing to help with anything, anytime. I would highly reccommend this to my friends. Fishermans wharf. Our trip was excellent. look forward to going back.

Thanks so much for a wonderful time in your great San Francisco flat. The property was even nicer than described with special additional touches like books, maps, extra amenities, everything we could need in a vacation rental! The unit was very clean, the check in and access to the unit a breeze, the bed was very comfortable and the views from the unit looking out over the city were lovely. The owners were very responsive and friendly; the entire process was fast and easy. Access to public transportation was simple and we had a wonderful visit going all around the city. I would strongly recommend this property to anyone wanting to visit San Francisco.

OMG what a great vacation rental!

My Hubby and I just celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary and I surprised him with a mini vacation in the city. This unit was great and we had a really nice time. The accommodations exceeded my expectations. It was clean, comfy and close to so many things to see and do. The view is great and we enjoyed the many faces of the city both day and night through the window. The description of the unit is accurate and it is well maintained. We will be coming back for sure. A+++++
