Escape to this brand new beach cottage for relaxation and fun in the sun! At this location, you will find yourself on your own private little getaway yet in the center of it all with lots to do for all ages. Within a 1/3 mile your will find not only the beach but a grocery store, surf shops, an ice cream parlor, and pizza place. Just beyond that you will find the surfers beach and extremely popular beach front bars/restaurants for those of age. Housing Amenities include very large well stocked kitchen, spacious living room with 37” flat screen TV, sun/morning room, play area for kids, large bedrooms and bathrooms, on site laundry, and large private yard. In addition bed linens, blankets, and pillows are provided. Local attractions include Block Island, Charlestown, Newport, Point Judith, and for those who feel lucky the Casino’s are within a short drive. Be the first to enjoy this brand new home!

Perfect Beach Vacation

From the moment we arrived, we felt truly at home at this wonderful beach house. It was everything we wanted; bright, nicely decorated, clean and stocked with so many amenities. The kitchen was perfect for my husband who loves to cook and in fact, we ate at home as much as we ate out. The rooms were comfortable with that great "beachy" feel. Our boys really loved the flat screen TV and we watched lots of summer movies on them at night. We also loved the outdoor shower. My husband used it exclusively all week.

We went to the beach almost every day and we also made several trips to the ice cream stand up the road. We ventured toward Pt. Judith for mini-golf and a nice seaside meal. We would have liked to explore more but we didn't have enough time.

We did want to mention how pleasant and accomodating the owner was to work with. We would absolutely recommend this place and we are hoping to make this our summer vacation tradition.

Awsome House

After renting several houses at the beach we have finally found the perfect summer beach house rental!! We found this beach house offered our family everything we were looking for; a beautiful well stocked kitchen (a gourmet would be envious), plenty of bedrooms, two bathrooms, an awesome outdoor shower which made life very convenient for the children and ourselves we actually used the outdoor shower more than the indoor showers there is just something great about an outdoor shower at the beach. The play/game room downstairs kept everyone entertained at night. We also had plenty of room to store everything we had to take with us which was a lot with three children, the yard was great for the kids to play in and the walk to the beach is very short. We also found that the village store (also in walking distance) was very convenient to pick-up just about anything we needed and the ice cream shop was not only yummy but a nightly event!!
We had friends over for dinner and there was plenty of room for everyone. We found the downstairs bedroom helpful because we had my mother and my sister-in-law over and it offered them a quiet place to be with there own bathroom.
The owners were very professional, the house is new and everything was extremely clean (which is very important to me). We had a wonderful time see you next year!!

Matunuck Beach House Review

Loved the home. Enjoyed our stay very much. Having everything new was great and made us feel very much at home. Very well stocked kitchen. We vacationed with my in-laws and having the two bedrooms upstairs and one down made it easy to have our own space with the kids and all their stuff (the upstairs has a lot of space). Walkout basement was great to be able to store bikes, etc. Outdoor hot/cold shower was wonderful too, made it very easy to wash off and shower the kids. Loved the wireless internet access and all the televisions which kept everyone happy:-) Walk to beach was not to bad since you can cut through the back yard. But, it comes with a beach pass so you can also drive as my inlaws always did. We have been renting in the area for the past five years and this was by far the best and nicest place. We have already booked for next year. Another huge plus, the owners are very nice to deal with!!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

Your home is beautiful and you were wonderful to work with. The house wasn't elderly friendly and we had a little bit of trouble with my mother. The bed was too high, the tub inside too tall to get in to. That was our only concern.

I would recommend this property to a friend who does not have someone with special needs.
