Clean, bright and decorated in a cozy beach theme. Great for couples or a couple with one child. This is located in the gated community of Kapoho Beach Lots on a beautiful bay. Just 15 minutes walk to Champagne Pond and 100 steps to the bay on a private easement. Private patio area with gas barbecue and garden views. Kitchenette includes dishes, wine glasses and margarita glasses! microwave, electric fry pan, toaster, rice cooker, coffee maker and blender. The bedroom offers a queen bed that might just be the most comfortable bed you have ever slept on! We offer luxurious towels for your comfort and relaxation. High speed wireless internet, free long distance phone to mainland and islands. This is a rural area of Hawaii that is lush and green. No high rises or tourist crowds here! The nights are black and the stars are bright. Snorkel with the great sea turtles in Champange Pond and view colorful coral and fish at the Waiopae tide pools. This is Hawaii of old!

This is a beautiful rural area with lush green vegetation, rain forests, horse ranches and papaya farms. You will pass through the tunnel of trees and Lava Tree Park after going through quaint, colorful old Pahoa Town. There are thermally heated fresh and sea water ponds throughout Kapoho Beach Lots. Only about one mile away are the marine preserve tide pools for snorkeling. You can fish along our shoreline, or hike the lava fields and lava tubes. See Volcanoes National Park only 29 miles away and lava flows within 15 minutes. Don't miss the scenic 'Red Road' and Kalapana highway with some of the most scenic Hawaiian views you will ever see. Swim with the dolphins at 'clothing optional' Kehena Beach. Visit black sand beaches, waterfalls, orchid farms and botanical gardens. You can even golf on top of a volcano! You can surf about 4 mile away at Isaac Hale Park and Pohoiki, where the fishermen launch their boats. If you can only stay a week, we will show you the highlights.

I have stayed at the turtle suite at Kapoho Joes a few times now and I always love it. It is a small, quaint place to relax and listen to the ocean as you fall asleep. I loved the owner's, Art and Joan. They made me feel so comfortable and when I left I felt like I was leaving family.

My favorite part is waking up to the breeze coming through the windows with fresh air, then walking out and sitting on the little porch with a nice cup of coffee. If you want to relax, this is the place to do it!

So cute, so clean and so comfortable!
I would recommend to anyone!
