We spent a majority of our spring break at the condo & loved it. The unit is wonderful. All of the comforts of home were available, the condo was clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. Fabio is a wonderful host. Rio Mar is close to El Yunque & snorkeling with East Wind. We hope to return and would recommend this unit to anyone.

Nice family vacation

My family had a wonderful vacation in Puerto Rico. The villa was very clean & comfortable. Fabio was extremely accommodating - accessible to answer questions & made it very comfortable for our 19 month old providing a portable crib & baby monitor. Some of the reasons we chose to stay at this villa were the views - which were spectacular, the owners responsiveness to our questions, & the fact that the unit & owners were toddler friendly. The villa was very well equipped - we cooked many meals in, did lots of laundry(think toddler!) & it never felt like a chore due to the well set up villa. The villa was very comfortable & felt more like a cozy home rather than a rental unit. We also liked being able to use the hotel facilities at the Wyndam & enjoyed returning to our private cluster area around the villa & a virtually private pool facility (we had the pool to ourselves all but one day.) We had a great time, would definitely return & felt Fabio was available at all times to assist in any way possible.

We loved staying here!

We had a wonderful vacation in Rio Mar, and this villa played a significant role in our enjoyable experience.

The owner was responsive and helpful from the very beginning and was accessible during our visit for any questions that arose.

The villa is located at the top of a hill, which provided a beautiful view from both the front and the back of the villa. Being on the top floor was a bonus too, offering more privacy (and nobody walking on your head). Although we had use of a golf cart, we chose to walk to the beach/hotel more often than we drove because it's a lovely walk which provides good exercise (about 20 minutes one-way, give or take, depending on how fast you walk). There is a pretty steep hill on the way back to the villa from the hotel, so those who are exercise-shy might not enjoy the walk and may want to consider taking the cart instead.

The inside of the villa is beautiful -- everything looked new and was very clean. It is also very well stocked -- we didn't need to buy any "extras" like dish soap, laundry detergent, sponges, etc. The appliances appear to be stainless steel, and the kitchen is a good size for making full meals. We also enjoyed using the grill, as well as the flat screen tv's and dvd player.

We would definitely recommend this villa to others and would rent it again ourselves in the future!

Wonderful, Great, Speectacular

My family just returned from Rio Mar we had a wonderful time. Fabio was wonderful to deal with he met us at the airport, when we arrived I could have not been more satisfied. I a a very hard person to satsify and this exceed's my expectations by far. This is the first time here have rented online so we had doubts but all worked out in our favor. We hope to go back again this year and back in Feb 09 the view the best in Rio Mar true heaven. (oh, and visit Richie's Cafe at the top of the hill the view amazing and if you ar lucky to meet Richie he is quite a character food amazing if the red snapper is on the menu make that your choice (yummo) Well, I guess you figured out we LOVED it if I had a final destination this would be the place...

Trip of a lifetime in Puerto Rico

An unforgettable Christmas vacation! We had stayed at the hotel on a previous trip and decided to be a bit more adventurous out and rent a condo. This turn out to be a better decision than what we thought. The condo is way more comfortable and convenient than a hotel room. The condo was really, really nice and the views beat those of the expensive rooms at the hotel. If you have kids, there is plenty to do. We had a great time hiking through El Yunque National Forest, which is just a short drive. We also booked an excursion to The Bioluminescent Bay (a must!) through the dive shop at the hotel. The golf cart was a lot of fun for the entire family and gave us a lot of flexibility.

We loved it so much we are planning another trip for Thanksgiving 2008.
