A Peaceful Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful and very well kept home. It was extremely clean, had all modern amenities and very practical for our purposes. We brought 4 children with us and there was plenty of space for all. The lake is extremely peaceful, we hardly saw anybody during our entire stay there. The children swam in the lake from the back yard and there was even a small area for our 4 year old to sit in a shallow placeon the sand and halfway in the water to play with her sand toys and splash around. We used the boat for boating and fishing. Exactly what we had in mind for a relaxing vacation. One of the unexpected perks was meeting a mother deer and her two babies in the back yard upon our arrival. They frequented the front and back yard on all of the days that we were there. My children were enthralled by this. We would definitely come back another time.

House was spacious and nice. Lake does not allow motor boats so noise was kept to a minimum...which I liked.

The house, deck and grounds were beautiful. Nicer than I expected. The only drawback was that there was no access to the water from the yard to swim. Although there was water access for the boat, it was so muddy that your foot sunk up to your ankle and it was difficult pulling free.

Swimming had to be done from the club house area which was quite a hike from the parking lot to the water. However, by the end of our stay, we started to get accustomed to the distance and the stairs.

Overall, it was a lovely vacation.
