Mijas Costa apartment for holiday rentals. With two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and a very large living room. The terrace, which is approximately 4m x4m faces out across beautiful gardens to the swimming pools. One of these is for small children and is within easy viewing distance of the terrace. The apartment is on the ground floor. It makes for a perfect holiday rental on the Costa del Sol for families, people looking for a quiet base to explore the coast and southern Andalusia, and for people who just want to relax on our very comfortable terrace furniture. The apartment has been furnished to a high standard throughout. The master bedroom looks out to Orange trees, and the second bedroom to Olive trees. The beach at La Cala is only an 8 minute drive, and Fuengirola is 5km. A car would be essential, although there are 3 bar/restaurants within a couple of minutes walk. After a day at the beach or touring the coast, this is a welcome retreat from the bustle of the Costa del Sol

The apartment is located in the Mijas Costa area, just inland between Fuengirola and La Cala. It doesn't suffer from the traffic and noise of many coastal locations, and benefits from easy access to all main routes. It is 30 minutes from Malaga airport, and only 5km from Fuengirola, for shopping, beach, and nightlife. The vast Myramar shopping centre is just off the main road into Fuengirola. Marbella is a 30 minute drive, and Puerto Banus a couple of minutes more. Mijas Golf Club is only 2km away, and situated in it's grounds is the famous Byblos Hotel where you can treat yourself to world class dining. The resort of La Cala, is a scenic and easy 8 minute drive through the countryside. It's long unspoiled beach is one of the best on Costa del Sol, and it is a nice, relaxed town with a very good selection of restaurants and a few bars. Fuengirola has an excellent beach, water park, and the most beautiful zoo on Costa del Sol, all within easy reach of the apartment.

  • Both bedrooms have powerful air conditioning and heating units individually operated by remote control. The master bedroom has a large double bed (150cm) and the mattress is of the highest quality, firm and extremely comfortable. It faces out to the gardens, towards the pools, with Orange trees immediately outside. It has a fully equipped en suite bathroom with bath, shower, WC, bidet etc. The second bedroom has two single beds, again with the best mattresses. It faces out to a grove of Olive trees, now beginning to mature nicely. It has its own facilities of WC, basin, shower in a separate room right outside in the corridor. There is plenty of storage space in both bedrooms. It is very quiet in the mornings here, don't expect to be woken by traffic noise.

Notes: Powerful air conditioning and heating throughout. There is a private parking space in the underground garage reached by elevator or stairs right outside the door. Although we love animals we cannot allow pets in this apartment. The furnishings/curtains etc were very expensive and there is too much risk of damage. A large screen (70cm) TV with DVD player are provided, so bring some DVD's. TV receives BBC 1,2,3, CBBC, and ITV and number of Spanish channels. Also a CD/radio stereo. The private terrace, approx 4 x 4 metres is ideal for sunbathing, but also provides welcome shade at midday. It faces directly out to the pool across the lawn. Sun lounger’s and parasols are provided around the pool, which is 1.3-1.9m deep. There is also a children’s pool, which is within easy view of the terrace. Suggestions: A rented car would be required to make the most of your holiday here. The location of the apartment makes it an ideal base for exploring the coast, east and west. Nearby, Fuengirola is well worth a visit. It is very good for shopping, and has plenty of nightlife, as well as a long beach. For more relaxed days at the beach, go to La Cala, which has to be one of the nicest resorts in the area. For a small town it has a very good selection of restaurants. It's only an 8 minute drive. There is a supermarket within 2 minutes walk. Fresh bread, milk etc, and a good selection of very reasonably priced wines. 2 bar/cafes, and an Indian restaurant are also within 2 minutes walk. Drive up to Ronda for a day trip. It is a great drive up into the mountains. Try lunch at the Don Miguel Hotel, with an outside table looking straight down into the gorge below. Good shopping too.
