Location Location This spacious 4 bdrm, 2 1/2 bath home is located 1/10 of a mile past the entrance to Ski Beech. We are the second parking area past the entrance and about 1 mile from the Beech Mountain Club and Buckeye Rec. Center swim, golf, and tennis areas. With over 1,680 square feet, our home has 4 bedrooms; 1 King / full bath, 1 Queen and 2 rooms w/ 2 separate twin beds in both rooms. All of the bedrooms are located on the same floor which is the lower level of the house. Washer/dryer. Three of the bedrooms have TVs with cable; the master has a DVD and IPod dock. One of the twin rooms has a PS2 with 2 controllers and rated “E” games for family enjoyment. The main floor has an open floor plan with two more large sliding glass doors which includes a large living room with a stone gas fireplace, dining room, a large kitchen with very large breakfast bar, and a half bath. Wood Decking surrounds the house on two levels. We have two parking areas with enough parking for 4 cars.

SUMMER GETAWAY IN BEECH MTN

We just spent a week in this delightful "chalet" in Beech Mtn, NC.
It was wonderful to sit on the wrap-around porch and have a glass
of wine, dinner and enjoy the wonderful cool mountain air. Beats the heck out of the heat and humidity of New Orleans.
While it is on the main road, the house sits well below the road, so you don't hear the traffic. Also what helps is: it is on the down side of the mountain.
Only problems we had were the cable went out after a summer thunderstorm and no one at the cable company could help us. We couldn't get the internet to work at all, but it was nice to get away from computers and email for a week. Stairs to lower floor were tricky, but once downstairs it was soooooo quiet, it plus the cool air gave us several good nigths of sleep.
Look forward to returning next year to Beech Mtn and renting this house again.............................Best, Earl and Lillian

More Than We Expected!

Our stay at this property was very enjoyable! This home was well-stocked and maintained. When looking for a place to rent for a long weekend, we needed one that allowed a pet. Because of this, we anticipated a let-down in cleanliness. What a surprise to find the house clean and smelling fresh. The living/kitchen area is spacious and although the bedrooms are small, they are adequate. The security deposit was returned promptly with a nice note of thanks. We will definitely consider renting here again for our next visit to Beech Mountain

Great Escape

My wife, myself, and a couple of friends, had the priviledge to stay in this unique home. All of us are appoaching 60 yrs. young, and rode our motorcycles to get there from Fl. It is even more than we expected from the listing, All was provided, we wanted for nothing. The mountain provided, wonderful temperature, abundant widlife, a great club house and amenities, and of course Fred's store with a GREAT staff, and restaurant, to mention a few things. Would we revist, absolutely!!!! Our security deposit even beat us home, how awesome is that!

Our Ski Beech Rental Weekend

I have been meaning to send you this email for weeks. I'm sorry that it took me so long to finally let you know how much we enjoyed staying in your lovely home at Beech Mountain. We had so much fun! The layout of the house worked great too! The children were fascinated with the spiral staircase. Your home provided a warm, cozy atmosphere for all of us to feel comfortable and relaxed. We loved that the bedrooms were all on the lower level. Our children took the room with the two twins against the walls and no television as they are a little younger. They thought they were having a slumber party! The other couple's children are a few years older and they enjoyed sharing the room with the Play Station and there was enough room for a pack-and-play. The five kids piled in to play video games and watch movies. I can't tell you how delightful it was to see all their smiling faces as they watched Aladdin after a long day of ski school. It was so cute!
We found the kitchen to be well stocked and the eating area big enough for everyone to enjoy breakfast together. We also used the kitchen table for the kids crafts and the adults to play late night board games. Cooking dinner together and playing games on our friend's Wii Station proved to be a favorite for the kids and adults. I loved the open floor plan so that we could cook and enjoy each other's company at the same time. Especially on Super Bowl Sunday.Thanks for giving us full use of any items in the house. We have been to many houses that do not provide anything, so we ended up overpacking. It was nice to know that if we return next year we do not need excess items. We loved the convenience of your home to the ski area. We only wish that we had had some snow. It happened to be the warmest winter weekend in years. But, that's okay. We had lots of fun snow tubing at another resort close by and had a great Cajun lunch at a really neat restaurant/general store near the local college ten minutes away. I can't remember the name of it, but it was delicious. Thanks for helping make our weekend so special. My kids commented that they enjoyed staying at "the cabin" the best of everything we did. I especially appreciated the ease and convenience of planning our stay. PayPal was a cinch to use and you were especially prompt on returning our rental deposit. Thank you again for being so helpful and professional in sharing your home with us! Sincerely, Feb 1-4
