Hand hewn log home on wooded acre offered to life intensive people for relaxing, recreating and discovering spectacular year-round recreation in Washington. Two private bedrooms, each with a queen size bed, are situated on the main floor. A large upstairs open loft features 1 queen size bed, 1 double & 1 twin, a second bathroom is located upstairs. A double futon is available in the living room. Newly remodeled gourmet kitchen with adjacent dining room features custom log table. Expansive wrap-around deck and outdoor hot tub embrace the fresh mountain air. Nearby lakes for swimming, boating and fishing. Close-by golfing, downhill skiing and quaint Bavarian town of Leavenworth. Mountain bike, cross country ski or snowmobiling right outside the door. Horseback riding, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours 4 miles away.

Camp Leavenwerk is situated in the glorious North Cascades in north central Washington where summers bring dry hot sunny days, autumn erupts in a symphony of color, and winters deliver snow filled crisp afternoons. A half hour from Stevens Pass to the West and an hour from Mission Ridge downhill slopes in Wenatchee to the east put you right in the middle of the state's best skiing. Or, slap on the cross country skis out the front door and explore the nearby Wenatchee National Forest. A short drive brings you to either the Wenatchee River or the Chiwawa River for rafting, swimming and hanging out. A quick 10 minute drive and you're at Lake Wenatchee for swimming, wind surfing and water sports; next to the lake is Kahler Glen's 18-hole golf course - challenging yet beautiful. Hiking, mountain biking, sleigh rides, snow mobiling, horse back riding, wine tasting are available for your enjoyment. Bavarian Leavenworth is a 25 minute drive -- don't miss it!

Cabin is beautiful, the wood is absolutely gorgeous, my fiance and I especially enjoyed the hot tub out back. The cabin comes equipped with everything a home should, I had no problem feeling like I was right where I was supposed to be. Aside from the large dead deer head coming out of the wall, which was extremely unpleasant and uncomfortable.

The location is right off the road, but you feel like you are truly in the midst of the woods. Which was perfect for our Halloween get-away.

Everything was wonderful, until the agency which we rented through, Lake Wenatchee Hideaways, accused us of using too many towels and having more people at the cabin than there really was. (the website is bluegrouse. com , I would beware of them)

Aside from the problems with the renting company, the cabin itself was a beautiful journey, and altogether a great getaway.
