Photos and Description of this Belleayre Mountain holiday cabin Three bedrooms, one bathroom, sleeps six maximum

This is a newly renovated three bedroom, one bathroom ski cabin on two wooded acres, with a pond on the property for ice skating. Prime, private location in Catskill Mountain State Park, right off the Belleayre Mountain Ski Center road. The ski area is a four minute drive (2 miles) on a major town road that is always plowed in winter. The cabin has hardwood floors, high tongue and groove ceilings, and is painted in rich colors with brand new beds - one room contains a bunk bed with spring mattresses, another contains a queen size bed with a premium memory foam mattress, and the third bedroom contains a cast iron trundle bed with two twin spring mattresses. Enjoy skiing, hiking, tubing, cycling, golf, fishing, and hunting, and swimming and boating at Belleayre Lake.

Located in the heart of the Catskill Mountains, minutes from the quaint mountain villages of Margaretville, Andes, Arkville, Pine Hill, Fleischmanns and Phoenicia. Extremely close to skiing and golf, and a short drive from the Saturday night auction in Fleischmanns, the scenic train rides in Arkville, and the shops and restaurants in Margaretville and Phoenicia. A five minute drive to cool and clear Belleayre Lake at Pine Hill, which has an excellent swimming beach and low priced rowboat, paddle boat and kayak rentals. Less than 30 minutes from Hunter Mountain Ski Area, Ski Plattekill and the funky charms of Woodstock.

This is a warm, comfortable, well-stocked home, in an off-the-main- road location that's private without being isolated. I do mean "home" - it's a place to sleep, relax, cook, etc., in comfort and with ease.

Ski slopes and restaurants nearby.

Sitting in front of the wood-stove, watching day turn to dusk turn to night is a priceless experience.

Highly recommended.

I stayed at this cabin last fall and loved it. It's quiet and very comfortable and close to great Catskill biking and hiking trails. We saw deer and wild turkey on one of our hikes.

Great place to getaway and enjoy the fall foliage. If you ski, it's just minutes away from the Bellayre lifts. If you're into fishing, you'll find some of NY State's best trout streams right down the road.

Highly recommended for those looking to escape the city or the 'burbs for a few days and enjoy the fresh Catskill air!
