Within walking distance there is a varied choice of restaurants, bars and supermarkets. There is also a weekly market where you can purchase fresh fruit and vegetables, leather goods, clothes, perfect for buying gifts for your family and friends. Torrevieja, the town centre, is only a 10 minute drive away. It is a great place for shopping, taking a walk along the promenade or just sitting in one of the many outside cafes sampling the local “tapas” and watching the world go by.

Places of Interest

There are several natural hot spas in this area. The most popular, Fortuna and Archena, are an hours drive away through the picturesque mountains, orange and lemon groves. The natural mineral waters will soak away your aches and pains and totally relax you. An absolute must for a day out! For the golf fanatics, Torrevieja boasts some of the finest courses on the Costa Blanca. These include Villa Martin, Campoamor and Las Ramblas, all of which are a short drive away from Playa Flamenca.
