'Erato' is the name of the lesser known sea nymphs in ancient Greek mythology. The names fit in that Ammouliani is a lesser known Greek island. Her name symbolizes all that is lovely and I cannot find a better word to describe this villa or the island. Erato is located right on the cliff, about 50 meters from the quiet Aegean sea with views that steal your breath away. The villa faces south filling the villa with sunlight. Enjoy sunrises over Mt. Athos on the wooden patio that juts out over the cliff while sipping complementary gourmet coffees & teas and spectacular sunsets over Mt. Olympus in the evenings.

    If you would like cleaning services please let me know at booking time.
  • The booking deposit of 30% of total rental costs is required in order for us to hold your rental unit. Full payment is due and must be received 30 days prior to your arrival. We will not be responsible for reminding you of upcoming final payment. Should final payment be late, you may lose your rental to somebody else. There will be no refund of booking deposit if this should occur.
  • Security Deposits:
    A refundable damage deposit of €200 is required in addition to the final rental payment and is due at that time. This deposit money will be used for damages made to rental unit and/or outdoor areas within complex. We will also hold money for additional cleaning charges should renter (s) leave the unit and surrounding living area in abnormally dirty condition. The deposit will be returned within 21 days from date of departure. Depending on premise occupied, return of renter's security deposit may also be obtained after 5pm on check-out day after unit has been thoroughly checked.
    Security deposit can be placed and held on a credit card. It will only be put through should there be any damages or extra cleaning of rental. You will receive a detailed list of charges in this case.

You may find yourself early morning hiking down the cliff-path for a brisk and refreshing swim off the rocks, or maybe a bit of snorkelling. The hike back up is great exercise. The road back up to the villa is lined with roses and perhaps you notice that it's been a long time since you even noticed roses, or weeds, or the colour and texture of the earth. You may even stop to take in the aroma. Back at the villa you roll out the yoga mat and do sun-salutations before a leisurely breakfast on the veranda as the island awakens far below.

As the day proceeds you might find yourself at one of the beach cafe/bars enjoying an iced coffee or Pina Colada, laying luxuriously on a beach chair listening to upbeat music or perhaps at another beach bar/cafe without the music, book in hand or iPod playing your favourites in your ear. You may also find yourself down the cliff-side on the rocks, feet dangling in the sea, in total privacy, or at a forgotten beach you found while exploring the island by boat. After hours of sunshine and swimming you might find yourself at one of the beach tavernas for a traditional Greek summer salad of tomatoes, cucumbers, onions and feta along with fried calamari, or you might come back home and pick fresh tomatoes from your private garden and fry your own Calamari and enjoy your lunch with a cool bottle of Retsina or ice-chilled ouzo looking down at the bustle of island life from the stone-laid veranda.

Golf: There is a lovely golf course about an hour's drive from here at Porto Carras.
