You have reached the end of Hwy 80 East which leads you to Tybee Island. After entering the island, go past the second red light & you will go around a sharp bend leading you onto Butler Avenue. You can see the beach from this road as it is the closest road to the beach running parallel to the beach. Continue on Butler Ave. until you get to 3rd street and the cottage rental is on the right corner of Butler & 3rd Street and the address is 301A, enter into the second driveway. Key marker: You will pass the Tybee water tower 1 block prior to arriving at the property. Welcome to relaxation!

Wonderful and Charming

We have rented many units over the years and this has to be one of the best and most charming. Very comfortable, clean and very homey feeling. Everything you need is included and the "courtyard" is wonderful for warm sunny afternoons and mild evenings. The owner is so gracious and helpful with tips on where to eat and go. The beach is right across the street with easy access. The island itself is quaint and a great place for a relaxing stay. We recommend it highly. Thanks for sharing with us.

Highly recommend this lovely cottage! It is in a terrific location, clean, and very comfortable! The hospitality was wonderful! If our travels ever bring us back to the area we will certainly stay here again!

GREAT Location - Terrible Bed

Everything about this retal was amazing...except the bed. This was easily the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. It felt comfortable at first, but after sleeping on it a whole night you wake up stiff and sore. it dips down in the middle so much you end up sleeping in the pike position all night.

Upsides, the house is only about 100 yards from the beack access. The house is also stocked with beach gear, including a cart, which we found extremely helpful! The place was very clean and we enjoyed the quotes posted around the house. The back porch area was superb, with a fountain, grill and plenty of seating, including a swing.

Tybee Island has the nicest beach I have ever been to, and, be sure to check out the sand bar on the south end at low tide. Fishing was great too.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway

Cottage w/ personality

We rented this cottage for 5 days/4 nights in late January 2009. It's quaint & has a lot of personality. The cottage is full of paintings, knick knacks, plaques w/ funny phrases & a beautiful mural on the living rm. wall. The courtyard in the back of the cottage is an oasis of plants, trees, fountains, tables, chairs & a porch swing . It was my favorite. The kitchen has most of the utensils, pots/pans, etc. you need. There are plenty of towels for bathing. There are coolers, chairs, etc. for the beach. The cottage is clean & has a pleasant odor. There is plenty of closet space to store your suitcases & other items. There was no wi-fi because the owner had recently discontinued service w/ the previous provider. I went 1/4 block to the library. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner who is a gem. If you plan a visit to Savannah or Tybee Island, I highly recommend this rental.

Right accross from the beach and WOW! beautiful 2!

We stayed here over Valentine's Day weekend and were amazed at this charming little apartment! The Fiddler was everything we hoped for and more. We had everything we could ask for and more. The courtyard was a favorite, and we spent many hours swinging away listening to the ocean. I would rent this or any of these properties, as they are all beautiful Definately the most for OUR money, and we encourage anyone to rent here! The owner was hospitable and gracious, and very accomodating. Never had a better stay anywhere We will be back!
