The Beach House is a unique property on St. Thomas. If privacy is what you're looking for The Beach House is the place for you. This magnificent property is located 40 feet above sea level, on three acres with 700 feet of shoreline where a wooden stairway leads you to a small, completely secluded beach. When calm the snorkeling and diving is some of the most pristine on the island. When the seas are rough you can enjoy a dip in the hot tub or bask in the warmth on the huge deck while you watch and enjoy the surf. Perfect oceanfront living! The Beach House is the perfect place to have your wedding, write a book, paint a seascape, or simply relax and enjoy an incredible, fun family vacation. The Beach House consists of a Main House with two bedrooms and a quaint three bedroom detatched cottage.

There are very few rentals on St. Thomas with their own beach and privacy. The Beach House is one of these. Part of the joy of the house is its privacy. We are one mile down a windy road that is part of the adventure of being there. While we are part of the Caret Bay neighborhood the house is nestled in the corner of its three acre property and you can neither see nor feel the presense of any of our neighbors.

Notes: Private Hot Tub: 4-6 person, Sundance, Hot Tub on a lower deck with outside shower and view of the ocean. Full Kitchen: Brand new Stainless Steel appliances, electric stove. Catering and Provisioning Available: We will be happy to help you find any number of wonderful chefs who will cater a magnificent meal or party. Due to the privacy you may wish never to leave the property and have us do the food provisioning for you. For a nominal fee we will be delighted to accommodate you. Deck/Patio: Huge outdoor deck overlooking the North side and the islands of Inner and Outer brass. Beautiful covered deck with elegant dining table and chairs for that wonderful outdoor breakfast, lunch or dinner yet protected from the hot sun. Beachfront: The Beach House has a private stairway to the secluded beach we call Mail Bay. At the beach is a small boat house with many beach toys. This is an open home and smoking is permitted on the decks only. No smoking is permitted indoors.

Proximity to Fun things to do: To visit beautiful Magen's Bay is a 20 minute drive To reach the East End of St. Thomas and the ferrry boats to St. John it is about 30-35 minute drive. Downtown shopping is only 15-20 minutes.

WEDDINGS, PARTIES, OR LARGE GATEHRING: The Beach House will accommodate up to 75 people. ADD a $1000 surcharge to the rental rate; and, a $1500 fully-refundable damage deposit is also required. All tables, flatware, china, dishes, and glassware for the event must be rented or provided by your caterer. We must have details of all plans well in advance of the event, including wedding personnel and/or catering persons who will be at the villa for your function. Guests will be held completely responsible for any damages, missing items, and will be charged if their caterer/chef does not complete a full clean-up of the property inside and outside, including removing all trash from the villa property.

CANCELLATIONS: If you cancel more than 45 days prior to your arrival date, 80% of your total deposit and advanced payment will be refunded to you and 20% will be retained as liquidation damages. If you cancel within 45 days of the arrival date, you will forfeit the full advance payment and damage/reservation deposit. Early departure does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit. If we are able to rebook the villa to another guest 80% of your rental monies will be returned to you for the nights booked.

Golf: Mahogany Run Golf Course is a beautiful 18 hole course in a specatular setting.

Excellent island hideaway

We really enjoyed a week on St. Thomas in this excellent house. There is beautiful snorkeling right off the beach in front of the house when the water is calm, and kayaks to go paddling with as well. The location is very private and beautifully situated above the beach, surrounded by trees. Still, it's easy to drive over for shopping in the town once you get used to the hilly St. Thomas roads. Highly recommended.
Owner's Response: Dave's discovery of the underwater world in front of the house was wonderful. His underwater photographs show the beauty that is the reef in front of the house and its secret charm. As we've been told by many rentors the snorkeling in front of the house is some of the best they've ever seen and Dave proved their case.
