HOME AWAY FROM HOME

Our family had been renting different homes in Stowe for 5 years straight. Then we were introduced to the Hilltop and have been returning for the last 7 years. This home is spacious enough to have friends and still feel comfortable. The view of Mt. Mansfield is incredible especially from the hot tub!. The owners are wonderful people to rent from. They keep the property very well maintained and in the spring and summer it really comes alive. I have recommended this house to many people.

There is so much to do in and around Stowe. We love to ski and dog sled in the winter, hike and horseback ride in the summer. The great restaurants span the culinary world. Our favorites are Pie in the Sky for pizza, Ye Old England Inn for ale and fish and chips, Rusty Nail for the Ice Bar and live bands, The Dutch Pancake and McCarthy's for breakfast. Gracie's for the Doggie Bag dessert. The Swiss Pot is no longer there which is very sad as the fondue fit right in.

Then of course the shopping. There are plenty of stores to explore here. You won't find any "chains" in Stowe which is a welcome relief.

If you enjoy spa treatments I strongly recommend Stoweflake or Mt. Mansfields new spa. Both are very clean and offer a varied menu.

Don't leave Stowe without visiting the von Trapp Family Lodge Austrian Tea Room. Yes this is the THE von Trapp family. Sound of Music and all. You won't run into Julie Andrews of course but you will understand why Maria and the gang decided to settle here. It does feel like your in Austria.

Hilltop is amazing

This is by far the nicest rental house we have stayed at! The decor is amazing and it feels much more homey than most rentals. The place is kept up really nice, very clean, well maintained, etc. The hot tub on the deck is wonderful for apres ski! Our dog loved roaming the yard as well. I would definitely stay again!

Beautiful Home with Beautiful Setting....

Our family was at Hilltop this winter and was amazed at the well maintained atmosphere of this beautifully furnished home. The view is spectacular, furnishings are comfortable, hot tub is well maintained. The house has everything we could ever want.

The master bedroom is spectacular with mountain views and each guest bedroom is well beautifully furnished.

This is a must you want to experience a truly beautiful experience in Stowe.

Perfect ski house!

Our group came back for a second year and had a wonderful time again! The house is so beautiful and clean and has everything we could want - big rooms, fireplace, great views, hot tubs, large dining table, etc, etc. We will certainly be back next year!

Stowe at its BEST!

My kind of place, my wife and I the minute we walked in the door fell in love. Great Views, and beautiful grounds and nice a secluded and private. Nice big clean hot tub.
Our family is would come back for sure.
