Come relax and get away from city life at this beautiful Forest Lakes retreat. In a two hour drive from Phoenix, AZ you can be at the top of the Mogollon Rim at 7700 foot elevation. Forest Lakes is 30 minutes east of Payson off of Highway 260 . Temperatures are typically up to 30 degrees cooler than in Phoenix, which makes for a lovely 'escape the heat' vacation or a frolic in the snow during the winter months. Nestled on an acre of land overlooking the national forest, at the end of a clu-de-sac, you will have all of the privacy and space to enjoy a memorable family getaway. There are many summer and winter recreational activities including fishing, boating, hiking, backpacking, horseback riding, camping, mountain biking, snowshoeing, sledding and cross country skiing.
