Beautiful furnished studio apartment to rent in Saint Germain, Latin Quarter, overlooking very quiet courtyard, of a 17th Century building, a great way to spend your vacation in the heart of Paris. This furnished studio apartment, with all modern conveniences and storage space, sleeps from 2 to 4 peoples. Located in the historical heart of Paris, with its antiquated streets and narrow houses, is an immersion in a popular and lively area of Paris. In the apartment, you will find a map which indicates several places you can discover strolling through the city while avoiding tourist traps. Within a 5mn walk, you will also be able to visit famous sites such as Notre Dame, le Panthéon, the museum of Sully and further away (about 10mn) are the Louvre museum. In the area, you can also find several shops with ‘good value for money’ (bakery, food markets and grocery stores) as well as interesting restaurants.

The apartment is situated at 39, rue Galande - 75005 Paris. At first rich and elegant in the 17th Century, the street then became known for its infamous cabarets. Today, it is a lively area with many shops and restaurants close by. The Maubert market, which takes place every other day, is typically Parisian. We can also recommend a small, reasonably priced supermarket in the rue Domat. Notre Dame, at the heart of French and Parisian history is a masterpiece of Gothic architecture, which has inspired many artists. Not to be missed also is the flower market, which is also situated on the Ile de la Cité. Centre of learning in 12th Century Europe, the Latin Quarter saw the birth of the university. The small streets leading to the St Michel Square are typical of the old Latin Quarter with its narrow houses and exotic cafés and restaurants. St Michel Square, dominated by an imposing fountain, is a very lively meeting place for students.
