Enjoy your own homeaway from home in San Francisco! Whether you are vacationing or traveling for business this is a lovely place to stay while visiting San Francisco and exploring Northern California. Our vacationing families have really enjoyed being able to enjoy a leisurely breakfast before starting out for a long day of sightseeing and being able to relax by the fire at the end of the day. The Nob Hill neighborhood is a very charming residential area with a European flavor; small cafes and corner grocery stores. Huntington Park is just half a block away (great for families traveling with children). The Cable Car Museum and Chinatown are only two blocks away. Moscone Center and Union Square are easy walking distance. The cable cars and bus lines are only a block or two from your front door.

This is a two level flat which occupies the third and fourth floor of our family owned building. There approximately 40 stairs from the sidewalk to the first level, please check with your traveling companions to make sure they will be able to manage this. The first floor has a spacious living room with period bay windows, cozy fireplace, and views of Grace Cathedral. The formal dining room can easily accommodate 8 to 10 and has beautiful period details. One downstairs bedroom has a full bed and a view of Coit Tower; the other is furnished with a twin daybed with a trundle bed underneath. - kitchen has a small eat-in breakfast area and has been updated with all new appliances (gas range). - downstairs bathroom and water closet (toilet) are separate rooms which can come in handy when traveling with friends and family. This bath has a tub/shower combination.

The Master suite is located on the second level and is approx. 700 sq/ ft. has it's' own full bath with double sinks and shower w/skylight. This bedroom is furnished with a queen bed and the adjacent sitting room has a sleeper sofa. There is a small deck off the sitting room with bistro table and chairs, however, it can get quite windy and is not suitable for children.

WONDERFUL STAY PERFECT FOR FAMILY

The house was absolutely gorgeous. My two year old love the expansive space and the Thomas the Train set the owner thoughtfully left in the house for him to play with. The playground a block away was also a huge hit. This house has magical powers. My two month old began sleeping through the night for the first time since she was born! The owner made sure our stay was comfortable, even setting up not one but two pack and play, a booster seat and had a fresh loaf of the famous San Fran sourdough bread waiting for us in the kitchen upon our arrival. The location was also key. You could easily walk to every tourist sight or take the cable car, which is also within a walking distance from the house. We rented a minivan, and the parking garage is an easy walk from the house and included in the price of the rental fee. The property is clean, airy, bright, and the owners were extremely gracious. I would definitely recommend it to all my friends and family. I hope to return and return soon!

This was a great place to stay....very spacious and close to everything! Jill was very accomodating, we had small children and she arranged for a pack and play, booster chair and even left a small bag of toys. There is also a great park only half a block away. The kitchen was fully equipped and everything was very clean. Great rooftop garden with views of the bay. Parking was about a block away, but nice to have if you need a car.
