Four Mile Creek: Casa Del Sol is located along Four Mile Creek, five miles from Glenwood Springs. As you continue up the road, Ski Sunlight is another five miles away. In the winter this is an ideal family ski resort, with surrounding cross country and snow shoe trails. You can enter into BLM land, and drive to Four Mile Park- offering snowmobile trails and sledding hills. In the summer, the hike up Ski Sunlight is beautiful and quiet - you will often find yourself the only one there. Four Mile Park offers countless dirt roads to explore by foot, jeep or bike.

Ski Resorts: Ski Sunlight is a short ten minute drive up the road. Sunlight offers a wide variety of terrain, with a friendly local charm. Aspen is forty miles away - and boasts four world class resorts - Snowmass, Highlands, Buttermilk and Ajax. The crowds here are minimal compared to the resorts closer to the front range, you will often have the runs to yourself. Vail and Beaver Creek are an hour away to the east. More world class skiing at your fingertips!
