Above and About 'The View' CABIN has the comforts of home and the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The views from this cabin are to die for and along with all to do in the immediate area this is the place to call home. Five bedrooms and three full bath along game room and sitting room for all to enjoy. Come and enjoy this cabin and once you visit you will want to stay. The master has a king size bedroom set along with a t.v., so even the kids can crawl into bed with you. Upstairs is the two bedrooms with a full bathroom and finished basement has another two spacious bedrooms and a full bathroom along with the pool table room and more. Come and enjoy the beauty of nature calling and be comfortable along the way. Within the development there is a river for all to use for your fishing enjoyment, do a picnic , there is a park for the little ones and basketball, tennis, pools for swimming etc. for the bigger ones something for all free to you.

Carter's Lake is at one of the entrances, where you can rent a boat or picnic in the area. Within the resort, go tubing in the river, or enjoy the newly built trout lodge where you can fish for the day. We are conveniently located just over one hour’s drive from Atlanta, Georgia and just 20 minutes from downtown Ellijay, Georgia. Ellijay is the apple capital of Georgia and the gateway to the Appalachian Mountains. Ellijay has many restaurants, shopping, art festivals, apple orchards, antique shopping, a movie theater, sports bars, a Super Wal-Mart, the largest in the South East, and many other modern conveniences. Also near Ellijay are countless opportunities for outdoor recreation such as hiking, whitewater rafting, canoeing, sightseeing, biking, trout fishing, camping, horseback riding, 4-wheeling, and so much more. Loved the Resort in Talking Rock Creek

I simply loved this cabin and my family was stunned when we got there. It had everything the owner had in her pictures and more. The cabin is full of country and mountain decorations which made us feel very welcome. The game room was used by all and there are plenty of T.V.'s and a wonderful satellite service that allowed to pick and choose. My husband enjoyed the wireless service for he needed to catch up on some work while the kids and I just relaxed and enjoyed. It is very spacious and with 10 people in the cabin we still had room to roam. The area provided such enjoyment that it was difficcult for us to want to drive out of that mountain area. We played tennis, basketball, went to the kidde park- grilled and saw some deers, wild turkeys and enjoyed every minute of the mountains. Our stay was specatcular in every sense and I can't wait to return in the near future.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
Owner's Response: Once you visit you will want to stay. Our cabin is full of mountain views in and out. All the decorations are for you to enjoy and the game room, the sitting room, the indoor-outdoor dining was done with comfort and good times in mind. Come and visit and enjoy the mountains today !

My parents were just so surprised when we arrived. They loved the mountain views and could not wait to just enjoy te secenery the cabin offered. My kids and I just wanted to be in the play room and enjoy the views from the inside. The cabin gave us so much room to roam and made us feel so comfortable with all the bears and mountain things in the cabin to see. We felt lucky we had done the right choice. We piced a wonderful cabin and if you stay in this cabin you will know why. We loved it !

Spacious cabin for our big family !

When we booked the cabin the owner was very helpful and wuick in sending out the info. We were unsure of the space just by looking at the pictures, but we were pleasantly surpirsed. The cabin is very spacious with three levels. Every floor has bedrooms so this makes it very comfortable for a large group. We simply love the cabin and will be returning back soon. The family enjoyed the fireplace at night, the wonderful deck had space for us to enjoy the views and have dinners with the sunset overlooking the mountains. In the area there was so much to see and do that our time there seemed too short and I look forward to revisiting.
