Located in beautiful Orange County, our stunning condo, situated across the street from the stairs/funicular to Strands Beach, has an ocean view and is centrally located to many shopping and dining options. The romantic and upscale Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel is only a 5 minute walk up the beach, along with many other great culinary choices. This property is in a prime location in Dana Point, Orange County, (that is, between Los Angeles and San Diego). Due to it's proximity to popular destinations, you will enjoy day trips to Hollywood, Disneyland and Legoland, with shopping at Fashion Island and South Coast Plaza. There is also Big Bear for skiing in the winter, and the California Desert. You can catch the ferry from Newport Beach to Catalina Island, or simply enjoy the beauty of pristine Dana Point Harbor.

Notes: Beach umbrella, sand chairs, toys, boogie boards. Besides normal kitchen cutlery, plates, glasses, and pots and pans, we also have a waffle maker, crock pot and rice maker. We include paper towels, paper naplins, all kitchen soaps, cleaning liquids, washer & dryer, drying rack, ironing board and iron, etc. Also provided are shampoos, conditioners, toilet paper and kleenex, curling irons and hair dryers. We stock a variety of DVDS, books, games and cards. Save on your packing space as we provide 4 to 8 fluffy, terry bathrobes for your convenience! We offer quite a lot, so if you don't see it... ask! We probably have it!

Busy Beach and Driving Vacation

The surprisingly spacious flat was lovely! Tastefully decorated, with everything we needed at hand. Being so close to the beach, we were down there first thing in the morning, and the climb up and down the steps was a workout in itself!
The teenagers could go out on their own, to the beach or to the pool. Supermarket shopping was nearby, as was Dennys, for terrific pancake breakfasts! However, a car is a must.
The lifestyle in Dana Point was impressive, yet we felt right at home. Unfortunately, we never made it to the Ritz Carlton, but had a great meal in Laguna Beach and a few special ones overlooking the harbour at Dana Point.
The bbq, ice maker, tellies, bodyboards, laundry facilities in the flat all added convenience to a busy trip for us. We went to San Diego Zoo, Big Bear, and San Francisco!
The only drawback was the lorry traffic outside in the mornings due to construction work just up the road. Hopefully, next time, the work will be finished and the area will be even more stunning.
The owner made sure we were happy. We would definitley stay there again, no problem.
