This is such an amazing place to spend time away from home and feel comfortable and relaxed. We went there to have our family reunion and it was great. We will probably go again next year. :-D

Rafting Trip Getaway! June 5-7th

We stayed at the Danielle Lodge last weekend and had a wonderful time. We found the accommodations very clean and comfortable. The property as described on the internet was all that and more! The river was at top flow, roaring by the deck -- so we were about as close as you could be without actually standing in it! The hot tub was crystal clear and nice and hot! We did it all! This was a group of my high school friends on our annual rafting trip, we are now in our 50s -- times flies! So we visited on the deck, in the hot tub, around the campfire. BBQed hamburgers, watched movies, played horseshoes, laid in the hammock! My 12 year old daughter came and played in the sand on the beach! My 84 year old mother came and stayed with her while we white water rafted, all were very comfortable in the lodge.
I would highly recommend this lodge, and will come back. It is secluded, but not far from town.
Our group went white water rafting with Osprey Rafting, 21 miles with class 3 plus rapids and we had a blast! We ate at Gustav's for dinner and Sandy's in Leavenworth for Breakfast and they were great.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway
