Villa Tropicasa is a tropical delight!. Only three minutes away from secluded Lime Kiln Beach, this villa is full of Caribbean color and charm. The bedrooms are located on either ends of the villa for maximum privacy. The guest bedroom with its own bath, is equipped with, twin beds, AC & ceiling fan and has a lovely view of the swimming pool and the Caribbean Sea. The master bedroom commands a grand view of the Caribbean sea and the island of Redonda & Nevis. It is equipped with AC, TV and Ceiling fan. The en-suite bathroom has double sinks and a Jacuzzi with shower. The sunken living area is fully equipped for your entertainment and it opens to the exceptionally attractive patio, pool and spa. The Dining area furnished in exotic rattan and divided from the well equipped kitchen by a breakfast bar. Set on the safest and most friendly Caribbean Isle, this is a perfect getaway, a honeymooners haven!

Thing to Do : Things to do In addition to its original draw as a unique island hideaway, Montserrat has become an enchanting destination for eco and volcano tourism. The Soufriere hills volcano has created a showcase of Mother natures marvels. Eco trails continue to be a major attraction as they have been over the years. Mountain Biking, Hiking & sight seeing tours of the Tropical rain forest in and around the Center and Silver hills are now even better than before, Volcano viewing from the Hi-tech observatory(MVO) and viewing Stations at either side of the Island, and guided tours of the buried town of Plymouth are very popular with visitors. Scuba diving in the crystal clear waters of the rapidly developing underwater park is a must for sea lovers. The reefs in the north of the island are teeming with life, a surprising plus of Volcanic activity. There is an amazing underwater world, waiting to be explored. Fine dining and bar hopping are a must for many of the island's tourists.

Getting to Montserrat: The nearest international airport is Antigua 27 miles away, with Direct services from New York, Newark, Philadelphia, London, Toronto, San Juan and many Caribbean islands. From North America, American Airlines offer connections via San Juan; while US Air, BWIA, Virgin Atlantic, Caledonian and Condor provide services from Europe with several flights weekly. There are daily scheduled inter island flights provided by LIAT, American Eagle which also operate in Antigua. Montserrat Visitors take a 15 minute flight from V.C Bird Intl Antigua.

A Great Place on a Unique Island

A very comfortable villa with a great pool and jets/waterfall (not heated). Sunset views and lots of seating on patio or inside. Well equiped kitchen and market is fairly close. Both bedrooms have AC which you'll need unless you want the roosters to wake you up at all hours. Owner easy to reach and knows he does need to fix the roof leak in the living room.
Islanders very mellow and friendly. Do drive to Little Bay and hike to Rendezvous Bay. Good swimming at Woodlands Beach and Iles Bay just downhill from the villa. Snorkeling is very so-so. Hook up with Troy of Green Monkey dive shop in Little Bay to dive/snorkel off Redonda Island and don't miss his boat tour of the island and the abandoned villas and ash-buried Plymouth with the volcano looming high above. You also should really have dinner one night at Ziggy's once you've mastered the twisty, narrow roads.
If you decide to fly in from Antigua, stay at Dickenson Bay cottages not too far from airport, walk down to the beach and go into St. John's for some shopping and people watching.
