Come to Annapolis to attend an historic presidential inauguration. Only 34 miles to Washington, DC. Waterfront cottage to enjoy with friends and family. This three bedroom, 1 bath single family waterfront home in the Annapolis neighborhood of Oyster Harbor features a glass sun room and raised deck with gas grill overlooking Oyster Creek. Recently updated kitchen, basketball hoop, large backyard, pier, and use of two kayaks. Accommodations: Bedroom 1-queen, Bedroom 2-twin, Bedroom 3-twin trundle: plus pull-out couch. No pets or smoking inside the house.

Annapolis waterfront in early August 2008

Very nice simple, clean, adequate beach house on a quiet street on a river that goes into Chesapeake Bay. Continue down the road and you will come to a nice community beach on the Bay. Great owners and good to work with. Good location, only a few minutes away from downtown Annapolis.
Please note however that there is no washer/dryer (not really a big deal, just plan to bring adequate clothing or plan to go to a laundrymat).
Also, there is no house phone and cell phones (we had AT&T, Cox, and one other carrier) do not receive signals at the house although I'm told Verizon works.
They do have wireless internet though, so bring your computer!

Attractive property

This property is best suited for a family of 4 or a couple. I spent a week with my two children. Toward the end I was beginning to wish for a bath and a half. I was pleased with the location, space and amenities. In June come with or pick up insect repellant if you plan to enjoy the outside space. For beach combers. which we are, the beach is accessibile and small. Downtown Annapolis is very walk- able and friendly. If you like history, there is a cemetery that began in 1692 - St. Mary's I believe, that is wonderful to walk through.
