Ocean Reef Club is a 6,000 acre private resort community located on the northern tip of Key Largo, Florida. It is known for its Caribbean flair, unparalleled yachting and diving waters, exceptional club service, and wide array of activities. Notes: There is a master bedroom with a king size bed in it, overhead fan and TV. There is a small bedroom with twin beds in it and a TV in that bedroom as well. All the beds are new and of highest quality and comfort. The living room has a couch with ottoman, plenty of seating and 42' flat screen high definition TV with Theater System, CD, DVD and Ipod connection. The bath is accessed from the living room for both bedrooms. The kitchen is really well equipped too with all new appliances, ice maker and the extra quiet Maytag dishwasher since we are an open concept kitchen/dining/living. There is also a washer & dryer. The front door has a collapsable screen so that's nice to let light and airflow through too. Our condo private heated pool is very close and there is a new Weber barbeque and a 42' flat screened digital high definition TV at the pool if you want to go out and swim and barbeque.

Only members and invited guests are admitted through the Front Gate, into the airport or into the canals. For this reason, the U.S. Secret Service has called Ocean Reef Club one of the most secure communities in the United States.

Easy To Get To: There are many ways to get to Ocean Reef. It is just 55 miles south of Miami International Airport for those arriving by car. (or Fort Lauderdale is just another 20 minutes away) There is a 4,000-foot airstrip which allows members to land their own aircraft or arrive by chartered aircraft. If arriving by boat, Ocean Reef is just 28 nautical miles south of Miami.

Very Quiet & Relaxing

This condo was well decorated and very comfortable for the five of us. It had all the comforts of home along with TV's in every room and internet. The pool was just a quick hop down the sidewalk, and the area was nice and quiet. With three teenagers a bit too quiet as there really wasn't a whole lot to do and being 15 miles from Key Largo was a little bit inconvenient. But for mom and dad it was very relaxing.
Owner's Response: Well Ocean Reef has about every activity(golf, tennis, crocket, kayaking, sailfish sailing,movie theatre, bicycling, snorkeling, restaurants, bars one could imagine. You mentioned Key Largo being 15 miles away. There is absolutely NOTHING to do in Key Largo, they have no movie theatre, golf, tennis, crocket so not sure if you really understand the Keys. If your teenagers had wanted to "party" Ocean Reef doesn't have much "party" in the summer for teenages....did you rent them a golf cart so they could travel the 6000 acres freely in the safest community in the US? Key West is "happening" , bars, Tshirt shops, cruise ships, people in craziness, that might be more appropirate for you all in the summer months looking for "action".

A vacation to always remember

This condo is impeccably clean with a gorgeous view of the canal with boats. We truly enjoyed our 7:30 a.m. swims in the pool right in our complex (a 1/2 a minute walk from the condo) and loved grilling and eating dinners out by the pool as well. The condo is small but was spacious enough for my 2 children and husband. And if you've never been to Ocean Reef, it is the biggest treat! Everyone uses golf carts as transportation (I highly recommend doing this - make sure you reserve one) and the kids love it! The lagoon is beautiful and the restaurants are fabulous. We did a lot of fishing right in the backyard of our condo...you go to the local bait shop and they set you right up. Definitely would recommend this vacation to anyone. We plan to make it an annual outing.

Our family of 4 stayed here for a week over New Years and had a wonderful time. The condo has everything you need for a great vacation. We would highly recommend it. Ocean Reef is a wonderful place for families too- very fun and safe!
