The Town:
Green Valley, AZ is a premier winter getaway/retirement resort community. Average fall winter temps range from 70-80 in the day and 50-60 at night. All major roads have both bike and golf car lanes. Tons of shopping is just minutes away. There is a movie theater and bowling alley with great food too. There is also every kind of dining available from traditional Mexican to Middle East cuisine and everything in between. The famous art district of Tubac is located just 20 minutes south off of I-19. One of the worlds best bird watching sights is located 30 minutes away in Madera Canyon at the foothills of the spectacular Santa Rita Mountains.
So Much To Do:
Lay by one of the sparkling pools at GVR and, if your in the mood, in 1 hour, you can be skiing down the southerly most ski area in the northern hemisphere high atop of the Catalina Mountains at Mt. :Lemmon Ski Valley or, just enjoy the drive up for shopping and lunch. There is concerts, theater, symphony and plays through out the year in Tucson just 30 minutes away. Great trout and bass fishing are 1:30 away at either Parker Canyon Lake or Patagonia Lake (Bass and Crappie). We've been here 27 years and have tried to take it all in and can provide any information on the endless activities the Old Pueblo has to offer year around.
