Luquillo is a very famous tourist attraction in PR. It has the most incredible blue beaches that are renowned around the world as 'Bandera Azul', or Blue Flag, which is the heights distinction. El Yunque National Rain Forest is 5 min. from the apartment with its incredible waterfalls and hiking trails. Also we have Las Cabezas light house and the famous bio-luminescent lagoon.

Also in Fajardo which is 15 min away, you can set sail on one of many boats for rental or take the ferry to Vieques or Culebra. Also in Christmas season and Three Kings Day you can explore our culture and festivals. Viejo San Juan is only 40 min. away with historical sightseeing like 'El Morro Fortress', the Bacardi Rum Factory tour, lots of shopping, wonderful food and sightseeing in a ferry cruise on the bay. Good Hotels nearby like El Conquistador& Westin Rio Mar where you can find fine dining, casino, golfing, horseback riding, snorkeling, tennis, marina and dancing. There are 5 Golf courses in Rio Grande area.

All girl vacation

We have just returned from our vacation to Puerto Rico. We stayed at this apartment and it was really great. Sheila was soooo sweet and very accomodating. The apartment is very close to the supermarket, pharmacy, bank, eating establishments and the beach. I came with my sister, best friend and two daughters and the apartment had enough room for us all. It had all the amenities of home and then some. The nights were very quiet and we were all able to get some much needed rest after many long hours of island trekking. I highly recommend the Camuy Caves-even my 3 year old was in awe. Don't hesitate rent this apartment!!!!!! Thank you Sheila!!!

Perfect Family Vacation Place

We just got back from a week at Sheila's condo. It was excellent. The views are beautiful. The condo has everything you would want and more. The location is perfect. The beach in front of the condo was our favorite in the area. There is no place I would rather stay in Puerto Rico. We can't wait to return.

Girls Getaway

First time in Puerto Rico and it was great! The apartment was great, loved having those balcony doors open all week! The apartment was clean and provided all we needed! There is a grocery store, and walgreens, across the street from the complex to get your necessities. Sheila was there to meet us and show us the apartment when we arrived. She was very accomodating! A car is a must have if you are leaving the property to do any sightseeing. We enjoyed the rainforest, casa bacardi, luquillo beach, local music, snorkeling, the pool, and shopping. The weather was great, very minimal rain. Just perfect for these Minnesotans!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Great place!

This apartment is everything You can see on the pictures and more. Rooms were perfectly clean, well furnished and comfortable. Sheila is lovely, came to meet us when we checked in and answered all our questions. Also contacted us during our stay to be sure that we were OK. We certainly felt welcome. You have everything You need for Your vacation - beach chairs, boogie board, tennis racquets, basketball etc etc etc. There's everything You need to make Your own dinner in the kitchen (everything very modern).
The location is also very good for nearby El Yunque rain forest, Culebra and Vieques islands. The beach at the building (Playa Azul) was IMO the best in the area, but not crowded at all (especially compared to the famous Luquillo beach, which was quite disappointing and nothing special).
Finally, one more thank You to Sheila, and we would always come back.

Beautiful apartment, great time

We vacationed here over spring break & Easter with our three children. We had some travel difficulties and Shelia was very understanding. Her apartment is furnished beautifully and there was plenty of room for our family. The kids loved the bunk beds and we loved keeping the doors open and feeling the fresh breezes. The views from the balcony are incredible! The waves in front of Playa Azul are fantastic for boogie boarding and the kids spent hours and hours in the waves. The kids also enjoyed playing ping pong and basketball. The location is great - plenty of food choices near and grocery stores nearby. We had a great time and can't wait to stay at Sheila's apartment in the future!
