This beautiful Costa Rican luxury retreat is located just outside the sleepy surf town of Dominical. It is nestled in a gated community and butts up against the rain forest. The ocean views are breathtaking and sunsets unparalleled. The beach is just minutes away. The home features two guest rooms downstairs that open to the rain forest and a large master bedroom upstairs with private balcony overlooking the rain forest and ocean. With two HDTV's, outside barbeque and infinity pool it is perfect for entertaining or just relaxing with a good book. If adventure calls surfing, snorkeling, rain forest tours, etc. etc. await close by.

  • The guest bathroom is just off the entrance hall with a sink and toilet . The other half bathroom is enclosed outside just off of the pool area for use . The guest room bathroom has a large sink and a jacuzzi tub with shower and extensive tiling. The master bathroom has two sinks and a very large shower enclosure that looks outside at the ocean and rain forest. It has ample storage for towels, etc.

  • One of guest rooms downstairs has a queen size bed with ample closet space..Ceiling fan and a/c. The bed was constructed by local artisans. The second guest room features two double beds constructed by local artisans and ample closet space., ceiling fans and a/c. Both have outside covered patios with furniture and a view of the rain forest. The master bedroom upstairs features a king size canopy bed with a small child's bed or sitting area. It also has it's own HDTV . The room is individually air conditioned. it opens onto a covered patio/balcony with ample patio furniture for relaxing and watching the sunset. It has a large walk-in closet and it's own washer and dryer. The patio overlooks the rain forest, infinity pool and coast line.

Notes: We have an SUV and it's use can be negotiated. We also have two ATV's which can be used with a negotiated addition to rental amount. We should be getting internet and phone service fairly soon. There are internet cafe's in Dominical.

Intimate Seclusion...: Casa de Corazon occupies a unique parcel of land. In addition to the flat acre on which the house sits, the property also contains four acres of hillside rain forest. The rain forest supplies a natural curtain for the occupants of the lower two bedrooms, which provides a sense of seclusion from the everyday, and intimacy with natural world.

...and Vast Expanses: The fringe of the rain forest wraps into view from the back porch and pool areas, but obediently gives way to a view of the epic, untouched Pacific coastline. Whereas the southern face of Casa de Corazon feels enormously private, the northern face looms over a vast and diverse scene. Depending on your mood, you can gaze upon the setting sun slowly filtering itself through the treetops, or shift a few feet and behold the event in its full radiance.

Pure Vida at Casa de Corazon

Casa de Corazon was everything we had hoped for and so much more! Bill and Mary were delightful to work with from my very first e-mail until we returned after our 2 week stay at this amazing villa. My favorite part of this trip to CR was in the mornings when a troop of white-faced monkeys visited us most every day. The lush landscaping, the relaxing pool, where we spent most of our time, the breathtaking views from every room...it all was perfect! The house is beautifully laid out and worked great for our family of 5. The property manager, Huascar was also very helpful and attentive. Huascar's brother, Walter owns Bahia Adventures in Uvita and they offer some awesome tours and are very worthy of checking out. We highly recommend this property. We will look forward to our return to this magical villa and place. Thank you so much Bill and Mary! We will be in touch soon. Cheers, Kelly and David

Casa de Corazon was everything we had hoped for
