Sun City is an active adult community located about 30 minutes northwest of downtown Phoenix. An expanding network of freeways makes for easy access to any part of the valley of the sun, including: Sky Harbor International Airport, exclusive Scottsdale shopping, and the beautiful new 400 million dollar University of Phoenix stadium, home of the NFL Cardinals and 2008 Super Bowl. Within a 20 minute drive are two baseball spring training stadiums. Next to the the new University of Phoenix stadium is the new arena home of the NHL Coyotes. Beautiful Lake Pleasant with its miles of fishing, sailing and boating is close by. Only minutes away, the Arrowhead shopping mall offers major department stores, two multi-screen movie theaters with stadium seating and many nationally known restaurants. Two hours north, you will find the spectacular red rock country of Sedona! Or visit the Grand Canyon which is about four hours away. Visit local Chamber of Commerce.

  • This is a non-smoking home. Month defined as 30 days. 5% discount for rentals over 60 days.
  • Deposits:
    All deposits are due within 7 days after you secure your reservation.
    The lesser of 50% of the estimated rent or $875 is required within 7 days to guarantee availability. The balance is due 30 days before your rental period. Rent is fully refunded for cancellations made prior to 60 calendar days before scheduled occupancy. Deposits are pro-rated based on open (un-booked) days for cancellations made 60 calendar days or less before scheduled occupancy.
    Security deposit: $800 (refundable, returned within 15 days of departure), to be paid with final rental fee.
    Cleaning deposit: $75 (refundable if property is clean on departure, returned within 15 days of departure), to be paid with final rental fee.
  • We are currently taking monthly rentals for the 2010 season (Oct 2009 - May 2010). We will begin taking weekly rentals starting July 1, 2009 for the 2010 season. Property is unavailable in the off season (June 1 thru September 30).

Golf: This property is located on beautiful Sun City Country Club . It is a private golf course that has just recently been opened to the public. The clubhouse/restaurant is known for it's fine dinning as well as dancing and is only 1 block from property.

The description did not do justice to the property. It is located on the 10th fairway of a golf course. Although the home is older, it has been beautifully remodelled with new everything. There is beautiful tile, new carpeting and new appliances. The house was spotless on arrival and many small things were provided - like laundry and dish soap, coffee filters.

We are seniors so we liked the quiet location. However, it is conveniently located. The Cardinals stadium and the Coyote hockey arena are minutes away. We went to both a football game and a hockey game while we were there. There is also a shopping center nearby. My husband and I are both golfers so we loved being on the golf course. The course is nicely priced allowing us to golf everyday. There are also many other golf courses in the immediate vicinity. There is a new shopping area (Park Place?) with several very good restaurants.

The owners were very accomodating and did everything possible to make our stay pleasant. We would love to go there again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to even our pickiest friends.

I give it 5 stars.

Awesome Property with everything brand new!!!

Recently four adult members of my family (myself included) stayed at this property in Sun City. We found it to be very comfortable. Some of the features we especially appreciated were the enclosed garage with automatic garage door opener. By parking in the garage, we were able to enter the house through the kitchen door which was handy when we brought in groceries. The car was cooler, too, because it was not in the sun. There were many cabinets in the kitchen and the kitchen was well equipped. It was great having broadband internet service. We all traveled with our computers. The washer and dryer were convenient. What we really enjoyed was the covered back patio. The weather was comfortable and sitting out there and visiting was great.

There was a Safeway grocery store just down on Olive where we bought groceries. Very handy! I think there was a drugstore down there across the street, too. Of course the location of the house was perfect for us. We had visited Sun City enough in the past that we knew how to get to Trader Joe's, Arrowhead Shopping Center and the Methodist Church.

If we were to return to Sun City, you can be sure we would try to stay at this house again. It was very nice.

We stayed here for 9 days. A very nicely furnished home with updates galore. So peaceful and quiet. A very restful place. Easy access to grocery and drugstore. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful experience. The house was very clean, very well furnished, great location- couldn't of asked for more. Well worth the money and deposit was refunded in 14 days as stated. I'd recommend it to all.
