Marco Island holiday house

This house was wonderful. Sharon was excellent to work with. She answered all of my questions promptly. This house is very easy to get to. The house looks exactly like the pictures. The house is very clean and well taken care of. My family really enjoyed the pool. Thank you, Sharon.

As advertised, this is truly a beautifully decorated, clean home. It was perfect for our recent stay (5/09, 3 women)... lots of privacy. We were able to spend time enjoying the sun, pool, and quiet for reading. The TV room was very nice, comfortable, and cozy. The kitchen was well stocked, although we never found a blender for our frozen margaritas, so we had them on the rocks. Ha! There was sewer line construction happening on the home's street, but it was not too intrusive and we had been told this by the owners prior to our stay. We did not walk to Tiger Tail Beach as we did this during a previous Island visit, but we did drive to beautiful Resident's Beach ($8/day parking fee). Everything on Marco is easy to get to and this terrific home is a great respite. We have every intention of renting this home again. We have rented other homes on Marco, and this one was the best for the price. The owners returned the damage deposit within a reasonable amount of time after our departure. I would HIGHLY recommend this home for anyone wanting privacy, cleanliness, attractive decorating, and well stocked with supplies and necessary kitchen equipment. The beds were mostly comfortable BUT we are quite "picky" on that subject, so maybe the beds were very comfortable to most people. The biggest suggestion I would make to improving our stay would have been a fan over the outdoor dining table on the lanai. Now THAT would have been a perfect setting for all our outdoor enjoyment. The outdoor furniture was comfortable and beautiful. The outdoor electric grill was something new to us, and we ended up using it several times. It is quite convenient, although we did miss the gas/charcoal flavors. Overall, we were extremely pleased with the home. Absolutely NO surprises, which is always a good thing...

We spent the first 10 days of January on Marco Island, and had awesome weather (highs in the 70's and 80's, sunny nearly the entire time). We enjoyed the home on Kendall Drive. Kendall has more traffic than we expected, but from the rooms at the back of the house, traffic noise wasn't an issue. It was fabulous to be able to pack lightly (carry-on bags) since the house had about everything we needed (e.g. beach chairs, beach towels, beach umbrella, etc.). We picked up some groceries and were all set (Winn-Dixie is a nicer store, but prices at Publix are much better). The walk to the beach is a nice walk & takes about 15 minutes from house to sand. Daily parking fee is now $8 and annual pass is now $50. The backyard pool was very refreshing...warm water and we loved the privacy of the backyard (backs to a gated community, so lots of trees/greenery). Barely heard any neighbors or dogs or anything. A/C units run quite a bit, but when they cycle off it's nice and quiet out back. Beds are comfortable, everything was clean and as advertised, and Sharon was extremely responsive.
