Set in 22 acres of wooded grounds in the heart of Suffolk’s beautiful Constable Country with marvelous views, we invite you to our 4* and 5* cottages. Hadleigh cottage has fantastic views over the lake and countryside, its own private terrace and all mod-cons. All on one level it is comfortable and spacious. Excellent local restaurants to suit every taste, but try Pauline’s famous frozen meal selection! Heated indoor pool, sauna, hot tub, hard tennis court, fishing lake, farm animals and a playground to entertain the children. Pets and children welcome. Gently rolling Suffolk countryside beckons visitors to escape the city and discover the villages, woodlands and hedgerows of this beautiful part of East Anglia. About half an hour from the seaside with excellent local pubs and seafood bistros you can get away from it all but still enjoy the luxuries of an English holiday.

Hadleigh cottage sleeps 4 on 2 bedrooms, all on one floor as an annexe to our house. The main bedroom has a Queen sized double bed (which can be a twin) and the other has bunk beds for more fun. We recommend this cottage for children over 5 years old or for older people. The bathroom has a shower over the bath, which is itself lower for easy access. Separate kitchen with dishwasher and fridge/freezer. The living room is spacious with great views over the estate and the valley beyond, with its own terrace. TV, Freeview and DVD player plus stereo system for wet days but a gas BBQ for the sunnier ones! Gas central heating a a log stove make this a really cosy cottage all year round.

Set in Suffolk's Constable Country, famous for chocolate-box villages and huge skies, we are convenient for London, Cambridge, Colchester and the seaside. Historic Colchester is England's oldest recorded town and has excellent shopping and a famous Zoo. We offer discounted tickets to to the Zoo. Only an hour from London you can catch a Show or visit the capital by regular train service. Lots of things to do and see nearby including horse riding, bird-watching, sailing, wine tasting and steam railways - something for everybody. You couldn't stay without trying the seafood at West Mersea or seeing Jimmy's famous farm, which are both nearby. If the kids are harder to entertain why not try the waterslides at LeisureWorld, 10-pin bowling or indoor playcenter at Colchester? Get them into history at the Castle or go back in time at the Iceni village.

Chelsworth (sleeps 8) and Wiston (sleeps 6) cottages both have all en-suite bedrooms and private hot tubs. Cottages for 4 people with differing features and prices. Melford is a particularly romantic cottage with a 4-poster bed and its own private hot tub All the cottages have DVD players and there is a library on site in our Information Centre, where we also sell frozen meals and local ice-creams!

Special packages: We offer 4 nights for the price of 3 from Monday to Friday from January to end March or 3 night breaks at weekends. Both packages cost 70% of the full weekly rate.

Hampers and gourmet meals: All cottages have access to the Farm freezer, with wonderful frozen meals and ice-creams, which you can pre-order. We also offer hampers to await your arrival, with champagne & chocs or simple first meals.
