Sugar Beach can be reached by a nature trail on the resort and you can walk to Pineapple Beach (or call Funji's for a pick up). However a stroll along Pineapple Beach will put you on Coki Beach, offering, excellent snorkeling and adjacent to Coral World which is enthralling to children.
Turn left out of the resort and you will be at Lindquist Beach, the most beautiful undeveloped beach on the island. After that comes Sapphire Beach home to a reggae beach party (Sapphire Sunday). A little further and you are in Red Hook where you will not only find shopping, restaurants and night life, but also the only hourly ferry to St. John and the National Park as well as ferries to the British Virgin Islands. You are on the dollar bus route so a car is not essential. You will have a guaranteed ocean view
