This glorious Beach House is located on the Atlantic Ocean at Truro, and provides unparalleled views of the waves rolling on to Ballston Beach, along with extremely convenient beach access. Originally constructed in the 1850s as a Boathouse for a US Life Saving Station, the House is completely updated, yet retains its historical charm. The new and open design features a fireplaced Living Room, with a huge expanse of windows showcasing the spectacular setting; an enormous Dining Room, with original glass doors providing access to a Screened-In Porch; a modern Kitchen, with granite countertops; wood rafters; and hardwood floors. The Second Floor features the Master Bedroom, looking out over the epic Atlantic Ocean; French Doors, leading to a private Upstairs Deck; an oversized Second Bedroom; and a large, modern Bathroom, with a marble Shower Area and Jacuzzi. I have been going to the Cape for almost twenty years and I have stayed at a variety of locations including hotels, resorts and beach houses. This property is by far the best experience that I have had. Located steps from beautiful Ballston Beach, the location can't be beat. It was cold the last night we were there, but I kept the windows open to hear the sound of waves. I traveled with three other adults and two small children. The beach house is a bit on the small side, but it accomodated all six of us quite nicely. It was clean, well-maintained, and provided a memorable experience. I recommend it highly.
