Outside amenities include a gorgeous resort-type swimming pool and sun deck with palm trees and a spa, a tennis court and a fitness room located in the clubhouse. Experience the 'Old Florida' of yester-year. You will see the world's most beautiful sunsets in a rustic setting. This unit turned out to be better than we expected. Very clean, beautiful fixtures, convenient elevator.
While it was a little off the beaten path for tourist. It was a great place to relax and not be bothered by the hustle and bustle usually associated with beach destinations. Gasparilla Island is a short drive away and very friendly to beachgoers. Not crowded and plenty of shells. Kayak rental is one mile away. Not so great for running, as there aren't many sidewalks. However the traffic on the road is light in July. Shopping and dining are a short 15 miles or less. Which is just like home in Indiana for us.
Siesta Key is a 45 minute drive away and is the best wildlife beach I have ever been too.
The pool at this property is magnificent and often we were the only swimmers there.
We took a day trip to the everglades and it was good.
I would recommend this property to a friend.
