The Napa Vacation Bungalow is a unique 3 bedroom. 2.5 bath retreat in Old Town Napa owned by two artists who live in SF. The property sleeps up to eight: 2 bedrooms and 1.5 baths are located in the Main House AND a third bedroom and another full bath are located in a private Garden Studio. A fourth sleeping area is created by a sleeper sofa in the living room. During your stay you'll enjoy fully stocked gourmet kitchen, private garden with huge bamboo, maples, apple trees, shade and sun, spa/Jacuzzi, dining room seating eight, gas barbecue, outdoor dining for eight, three separate redwood decks, property-wide WIFI, 42'' flat screen TV, private office with printer/scanner, washer, dryer, off-street parking, wine cooler and iPod-friendly sound systems. Main House and Garden Studio for one price!: The property is comprised of a Main House and Garden Studio - both are rented together for one price. (There is no extra charge for the Garden Studio!) The Main House is a complete home with two bedrooms, one and a half baths, fully stocked gourmet kitchen, dining room seating eight, living room with a 42'' flat screen TV, DVD movie library, private office, WiFi, stereo system filtered water, wine cooler and everything you need for a wonderful vacation. The Garden Studio offers a King bed, full bathroom, fully stocked kitchenette, and seating area. Two french doors lead from the Garden Studio to the Studio's own semi-private deck adjacent to the spa. This makes entertaining around the spa convenient and fun. The garden offers three separate redwood decks, a giant 25' tall black bamboo grove, water fountain, apple and maple trees. The gardens feels quiet, private and secluded.

We had an incredible time in Napa - and this vacation bungalow had a lot to do with it. The description and photos on the website were very accurate. The home was extremely clean and had every ammenity that you would need. The owners responded to email inquiries promptly; they provided great suggestions on things to do in Napa and surrounding areas. This was a girls getaway - we toured during the day and came home at night to cook dinners, sip wine, listen to music, and relax on the deck or in the jacuzzi. It is within walking distance to town where there are great restaurants and shopping. I would highly recommend this property.

Downtown Napa Bungalow

My two girlfriends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this bungalow. It was exactly as advertised: Remodeled, well-equipped and furnished, clean, excellent location, and entirely comfortable. We went for a self-created writing retreat and this was the perfect place: A large dining room table for us to work, eat, and visit at, in the center of the house. My friends are foodies and there wasn't an amenity or gadget that we couldn't find in the kitchen. It was wonderful having our own bathrooms (two of us shared a shower but we all had our own toilets and sinks). The property agent/manager met us at the property when we arrived and then again when we checked out, and was most pleasant and helpful, making the process both comprehensive and efficient. It's obvious the owners are artists -- every attention to detail in the house was masterful, and the result is an environment that is soothing, warm and inviting. We loved the backyard and the hot tub and how the lights in the trees twinkle at night. One of my friends and I made frequent walking trips to town and found it to be the perfect distance. We would definitely recommend this to anyone, and hope to return and make it an annual writing retreat.

Our stay in Napa was just as close to perfect as any holiday can be! The house was just fantastic - wonderful attention to detail - incredibly peaceful and serene backyard - fabulous hot tub. Perfectly located - an easy walk into the town of Napa and an easy drive to many more wonderful places in the Napa Valley and beyond. Dori, the property manager, couldn't have been more helpful! She made some wonderful arrangements for us, including wine tours and dinners, that only added to the incredible time we had in Napa. If we lived any closer, we'd be back in Napa and this house in a heartbeat!

Our experience with Napa Vacation Bungalow exceeded expectations from the very beginning. The rental process was simple, and any questions I had about the property were answered immediately. It was a nice way to start what was to be one of the best vacations we have ever had.

I chose Napa Vacation Bungalow based on the terrific website, photos, and stellar reviews - and, when we finally arrived, the house was even lovelier than expected. It is perfectly appointed, and we did not want for anything. Everything we needed, from kitchen supplies to bath amenities, to entertainment and internet access, was provided.

We were met by Dori, the property manager, when we arrived. She was lovely, and gave us a thorough description of the house, the area, as well as suggestions for where to eat, and local activities that we might enjoy. She was there when we needed anything, and her bubbly personality was the perfect welcome to our arrival.

Location is everything, and the house is situated in the perfect spot. A short walk to downtown Napa, which includes the developing riverfront, a number of excellent restaurants and wine bars, entertainment, and a public market; and an easy drive to the heart of Napa wineries (Oakville, St Helena, and Calistoga). Sonoma, the coast, and the gorgeous Alexander Valley/Dry Creek region are all accessible in under an hour (depending on which route you take). And, after a day of exploring, wine tasting, galleries, and shopping, there wasn't anything better then returning to the house to cook and enjoy dinner outside under the stars.

Incredible attention to detail, gorgeous decor and landscape design, peaceful solitude, and a great location made our stay unforgettable. It was perfect, and we can't wait to return!
