What a darling beach cottage we found in Beach Haven, a few blocks from the beach. The owners Joan and Ed thought of everything. Our three grand daughters found beach bags with their initials awaiting their arrival. The red wagon to get back and forth to the beach was a real hit with the youngest girl. The beach chairs were by far the most comfortable I've ever used.
The kitchen is fully equipped and having a washer and dryer was added value. Everything was spotless, and there was a brand new refrigerator and TV. Because the unit is on the end there were lovely breezes in the bedroom up stairs and throughout the first floor since there are three windows and the deck for cross ventilation. As a result we never used the AC. We ate most of our meals on the deck and I loved the lattice work around the deck which allowed fresh air and privacy.
We took advantage of the amusement park, the water park and mini golf. This is a great location for a family. Beach Haven has so much to offer, we actually ran out of time to do everything . Next time we'll go to the local theater and museum.
I would highly recommend Joan and Ed's place for families or couples for a wonderful getaway on Long Beach Island. Thanks for renting us your darling place.
