The spaciousness of the house was great for our group (4 adults and 6 kids under the age of 7). The master suite and bathroom were beautiful....the children's bedrooms were small and simple-no worries about damaging valuables. The pool is not heated but was warm enough in April to swim comfortably. The beach is not truly walking distance from the home, especially with young children, but it was only a 5 minute drive to the public beach. Our only complaints were that some of the appliances and cookware were old (toaster, electric stove, pots and pans) and could use some updating. The kids loved fishing on the waterway and chasing the iguanas around. All in all, we enjoyed the home and would rent again through this family. They were responsive to our requests and there were no surprises in the house.

Great for an extended family R and R

The house and property fit our needs perfectly. We came with three generations including four little girls under the age of 4. There were ample outdoor toys to keep them busy for hours. The screened-in patio was great for art projects and all of our meals. The pool is not heated which made swimming a bit of a problem. The property was clean and well-maintained although the refrigerator broke when we arrived. A replacement came soon enough. The owners took great pride in this house-maybe a bit too much: the dining room chairs were recently upholstered in pale green linen (not a good choice for renters) and the towels and pillows were counted in our presence before we left!
