Myself and a group of friends visited the cottage for our last weekend together. The whole expierence was fantastic! Beautiful location, view, and cottage. They were fantastic hosts and really made our little vacation that much better. Everything was clean, well maintained, and beautiful. I really miss waking up with out the sound of a trickling brook in the background. A perfect place to relax, I would strongly recommend this property.

Amazing Final Weekend in Ontario

The pictures of this cabin do not do it justice. It was an amazing weekend to relax with some friends. The stream that runs under the cottage is incredible. The ability to sit on the deck while barbequing while the stream runs next to you is so relaxing. The greenery and the landscape are breathtaking. There is lots of room to go exploring as well as down by the river; where we were lucky enough to see people fly fishing. There is a beautiful waterfall nearby where you can be by the river and take in the beauty. Lake Huron is also near where there is a beautiful boardwalk and has nice areas to sit and watch the sunset. There was a point when we could not see where the sky and the lake met, just beautiful. The best part is the cottage itself. The architecture of the place was beyond what we had imagined. The high vault ceiling combined with the old wood adds so much character. Me and four of my friends loved our visit and will be making an effort to come back when we return to Ontario.

We had such a great time, the place was absolutly beautiful! Hearing the sounds of the water around us was very comforting and the owners Sally and David were extremely friendly and welcoming. We would love to go again and it was really a memorable weekend.

Breathtakingly beautiful and serene. A place to completely unwind. Uncrowded, unbusy. The Maitland River and property hold a history and beauty to be savored.
