Just a few miles to either Camelback or Jack Frost/Big Boulder ski areas where you can enjoy snow tubing, snowboarding, skiing, skating, and snowmobiling for all your winter fun. The house is ideally situated less than two hours from New York City and Philadelphia in a four season recreational community. Locust Lake Village offers five lakes and many recreation areas for your enjoyment. The village also offers swimming beaches, fishing, and boating on three of the lakes. The house is nestled in a heavily wooded half-acre lot, within walking distance to the largest lake - Locust Lake. Bordered by 21,000 acres of state game lands makes this a true retreat. The house has an open floor plan with a large open living/kitchen/dining room area that comfortably fits a nice size group yet cozy enough for small gatherings. Two sets of sliding doors lead to the front porch. A door next to the fireplace opens up to a screened sun porch - an ideal place to enjoy your warm summer days!

During summer our full-time recreational department offers various fun activities for children and adults. They include arts & crafts, ceramics, softball games, tennis and swimming lessons, water games, pet shows, ice cream socials, cook-out/campfire nights, bingo, Poker nights, family movie nights, organized trips to Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom, Pocono International Raceway, Crossings Outlet Mall and Golf trips. Village activities are free of charge as long as you hold your badges provided by the owner.

My stay in the Poconos

My stay at the Poconos was very enjoyable. The house was very easy to get into and check out. The house
had all the comforts of home, including all utensils for
the kitchen, so we could cook any meal we liked. The
bedrooms had TVs in them for late night watching. The location of the house was excellent, walking distance to the lake. The community was very nice and clean.
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
