The Beach House is a hop skip and a jump to a private saltwater beach in desirable Point Independence. This property is located before the Bourne Bridge and the hustle and bustle of busy Cape Cod. It is in a charming seaside village of Onset called Nanumett Heights. Leave your car keys behind and stroll to the beach, shops, restaurants and the town pier or just sit and relax on the large wrap-around porch while sipping a cold drink. Onset Bay Association provides many activities to enjoy such as illumination night, fireworks, band concerts, outdoor movies, art shows and festivals. This home brings back the true Cape Cod Cottage with loads of character and wainscoting throughout. Single family occupancy preferred.

Less than a 4 minute walk to private beach. Onset is very centrally located, one hour drive to Boston, 45 minutes to Providence, RI, and one hour drive to the tip of Cape Cod, Provincetown. Property belongs to the Nanumett Heights Association that provides a well groomed private beach with safety swim zone for smaller children and a floating raft for jumping for the older children. When you're not at the beach take a stroll up town to Onset Village and enjoy shopping, local restaurants, weekly outdoor band shell movies and concerts. If fishing or boating is your pleasure, cast your rod off the town pier or take a ride on a harbor cruise.

Peaceful fall retreat

We spent a week in October when all the Cape Cod traffic and tourists have slowed down. The cottage was excellent, everything you would want in a beach house.
Great jumping off point to the Upper Cape and also not that far from Boston. We had great weather and in the evening it was cozy to sit by the fireplace with a glass of wine or hot chocolate. It was a great plus that it was within walking distance to downtown Onset for dinner, coffee, etc. Definately would like to come again, this time in the summer to enjoy the private beach. The owners show pride of ownership & are extremely friendly & helpful.

Fun week in Onset

This home was very charming with the beadboard panelling and quaint front porch. The home was very clean and met all of our needs. We enjoyed the beach which was just a short walk away. The cooler ocean breezes made our nights very comfortable and we had a very restful week on Cape Cod.

The Beach House

This house was the perfect vacation house. We were close to the beach, center of town, biking and many, many more. We sat on the front porch at night and slept like babies. Everything was brand new and it had everything you could possibly need to go to the beach, cook and just live like a king.
