Fishing : If you like the convenience of a fully stocked kitchen, groceries can be delivered to villa Amapola. Your catch, if you go on one of the great fishing trips, can be prepared for your dining pleasure, in a gourmet variety of ways. Two boats are available to guests of Amapola for deep sea or shore/reef fishing. They are part of the fleet of the Hotel Punta Islita, and can be booked for half day or full day trips, and are billed separately from the lodging. The fishing is outstanding-catching 3 marlins,(blue, stripped and white -a hat trick)plus 2 sailfish is not uncommon in these waters, in a half day trip. There are also 2 tennis courts are surrounded by tropical birds and lime, lemon, orange, and grapefruit trees-it is gorgeous, setting and good courts-1 has lights for an after sunset rally.
Transportation: The hotel provides ground transportation within the village. A golf cart can to rented right at the main desk for simple quick rides to town, local resturants or the beach, from the villa. The front desk can also arrange for a rental car to be delivered to you for your personal trips and excursions to the many beautiful local beaches and pristine dry rain forest areas in the surrounding towns.
Other Activities: Some of the best reef and deep sea fishing at your doorstep.Access is easy,pick up on the beach.Full or half day,Jungle 'zip'line is awesome.Golf too.
