Beautifully remodeled ocean view cottage only steps to private beach and away from the crowds. Views of Block Island and just minutes to the ferry. Only 25 minutes to historic Newport, 45 minutes to Mystic, CT and CT casinos. Great fishing and excellent water sports -- a haven for surfers and beach bums. Excellent restaurants nearby including the best seafood the East Coast has to offer. Everything inside of cottage is brand new. Bright, sunny and quaint with bamboo flooring and brand new furnishings and top end appliances. * Just Completed! 25 x 12 patio. Great for summer dining and relaxation.

Perfect RI Cottage

I stayed here for a relaxing week in August with a good friend. This cottage is a picture-perfect RI beach retreat. It worked well for 2-3 people without feeling crowded. It was clean (my biggest concern) and well stocked with "extras" like cooking supplies, lobster pot, towels, etc. The location was ideal - a 2 minute walk from a very nice private beach, 1/2 mile from the best clam shacks in the state and a scenic lighthouse and 2 miles from the larger state beaches and Galilee/Block Island Ferry. The owners were quick to respond to any inquiries during the rental process. I would recommend this property. The only way to improve it would be to add an outdoor shower, but the hose worked fine for removing sand. If you're looking for the RI beach experience, this is the place. I hope to return!

The cottage was accurately described. It was very clean and well stocked. In a pleasant location close to the beach. Some good restaurants a short drive away. I would definately recommend this property. The owners are helpful and friendly. We had lovely sunny weather and were able to spend time on the beach in October.

We stayed in this cottage the third week in April 08. The fact that the weather was beautiful only enhanced the cottage. It was clean comfortable, and well equipped with everthing we needed.
The cottage is close to the ferry to Block Island which is a nice day trip. However we enjoyed the beautiful sunsets and walks along the breaker and to the Light house on a daily basis.
Its only a short trip up the road to a Shop and Stop, so you can eat in as well at hit any of the local restaurants in the area.
Will definately be booking again. Since we were there off season it was extremely quiet so for that reason I will recommend it for age 55+ but I am sure my children would love it in the heat of the summer also.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Beautiful Little Beach Cottage

I went up to this cottage with 4 of my friends on a little bit of a spring break. We had a great time at the beautifully decorated house which is bright and homey. It had everything we needed for our short stay. It was great having the beach right there, and we went out and walked on the jetti. It is in a great location as it is close to Newport where we went for shopping and walking on the cliff walk. We also went to Providence to visit the large mall they have there. The kitchen, though rather small has everything you need to make any meal, and the couch is really comfortable, and doubles as a bed. Overall, we had a great time at this house and the owners were great to deal with and answered all my questions. Thanks for a great time!
