Great Rhode Island vacation

My family and I stayed at this property for a week in July, 2008. Upon arrival we were very impressed with how clean and quaint the property was. It was as advertised in the listing. Shortly after arriving, while unpacking actually, we were visited by the owner Frank. He wanted to make sure we were settling in ok and if we had any questions. He was at the property making some improvements on a few things. Very nice guy, easy to talk to and great to do business with. He went over all the amenities of the house and then gave us some tips on the local scene as far as attractions for the kids and restaurants. The property is approx. 3/4 of a mile from Scarboro Beach. It takes about 10 minutes to walk there, but the owner does provide on of those beach buggies to carry all of your beach gear to and from the beach which makes life much easier. From the house, you are less than a 45 minute drive from Newport, Watch Hill, Misquamicut, and Providence. Galilee and Point Judith are literally minutes down the road. Overall, the place was great and very conveniently located. My family and I had a great time. I have two children, a son 11 years old and a daughter 8 years old and they are both asking when we are going back. Very good value for the money for a great family vacation in Narragansett R.I. Thanks Frank, Jim.
