Romantically private 2 acre wooded cabin getaway on the 'Circle Color Tour' along Lake Huron and the colors should be beautiful during the autumn time of year. Cabin is just seven miles south of downtown Harbor Beach, on Lakeshore Road (M25) in White Rock. From Lexington (south) to Harbor Beach (North) enjoy everything these waterfront resort communities have. Such as autumn leaf colors, fall hunting in abundance, winter snow mobiling, summer boating, fishing, antiques, quaint pubs, light houses, grocery stores, restaurants, swimming beach, kiddie playground, theater, golf, hospital, library, and unique gift shops. Build your own memories and explore everything from the old towns of Forester, Port Sanilac, Lexington, Bad Axe, Deckerville and Port Austin.

Great Get-Away!

The cottage has wonderful views of the lake. While having breakfast, we could see the freighters going by on the lake. The kitchen and living room have door walls with views of the lake. The kitchen was well-stocked and very clean. The other rooms were also clean. The owner provided some entertaining DVDs that are family-friendly.

The property has wooded areas on three sides that provide privacy. The property has plenty of room to relax on the lawn. We preferred to sit on the porch and just relax with a cocktail (or two).

Harbor Beach is nearly 10 miles from the cottage, but it is a quick ride on just one street; no turns or side streets. In Harbor Beach a number of restaurants are available and shopping too.

Harbor Beach has fishing piers (no luck for us on this trip) and beautiful parks.

We would recommend this rental to our friends...
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
