Fort Lauderdale holiday house

A group of seven of us, ranging in age from 16 to 55, were attending a conference in Ft. Lauderdale and chose to rent a house rather than book hotel rooms. The price was no more expensive than several moderately priced hotel rooms, and the advantage of being able to cook/have meals "at home" helped save a good bit of money! The house was very clean, and the staff at the Best Western (who manages the property) was very helpful and responsive. We had a couple of technology issues, but the staff worked with us to promptly resolve them. The location is perfect...just a block from the beach, with access to all of the services of the Best Western (pool, bar, restaurant). The house is on the bus line, so transportation can be cheap, but you are also within walking distance of some of the local attractions. The beach is lovely and convenient, and the yard is well-kept and pleasant! The only shortcoming is that although the kitchen appliances are new and in good working order, they could use some additional serving and cooking tools. Overall, a VERY good bargain for the money!
