  • The main Plantation Home has 2-1/2 bathrooms. The master suite has an elegant dressing room, full bath, and tropical outdoor garden shower as well as an indoor Jacuzzi tub and shower. Granite is installed on the over-sized 2-sink vanity and on the built-in dresser.

  • This beautiful home is ideal for a party of 4 adults. The spacious Master Suite, with its queen-size bed, is private and has a beautiful Hawaiian outdoor garden shower (yes, it is always warm enough to enjoy!), an indoor shower, a Jacuzzi whirlpool tub, dressing room, and a view! The second bedroom is secluded from the Master Suite and is a quiet, peaceful garden room, with full bath (shower). This bedroom has a queen-size E-Z bed. The Office is fully equipped for checking e-mail, sending faxes, and other duties that may follow you on vacation, and has a magnificent view if you wish to write that novel or screenplay you've always dreamed about. The gorgeous Great room has a large, gourmet kitchen that opens into the Living Room area, complete with a huge home theater. Huge sliding ''pocket'' doors disappear into the walls to create an enormous indoor-outdoor living space that flow onto both the front and rear lanais (patios), with gorgeous views in all directions.

Serenity, Peace, and Quiet: Experience total peace and quiet as the sun sets and you sip a mai tai on the lanai, overlooking the beautiful Pacific. Because Aloha Island Farm is a working Kona coffee farm, you will also have the unique experience of living on a producing farm, including seeing the orchard workers mow, prune, and tend to our 12,000 coffee trees.

Luxury and Conveniences: The large, fully equipped kitchen is truly a gourmet's delight. All countertops are granite, including the 53 in. by 89 in. island with its separate prep sink and disposal. The appliances include a Jenn-Air gas cooktop/electic oven unit, Amana side-by-side refrigerator/freezer, and wood-paneled, top-of-the-line GE dishwasher. The 1,200 sq.ft. lanai is equipped with an outdoor kitchen, wine cooler, and undercounter refrigerator for casual Hawaiian style entertaining. Lushly landscaped with indigenous tropical trees and plantings, the classically elegant pool and adjoining lanai offers breathtaking views of the bays and ocean 1,000 ft. below, while expansive grassy areas provide ample room for both entertaining and relaxing. The 40 ft. by 14 ft. pool is solar heated for year round comfort.

Serenity, Peace, and Quiet: The property is gated and located on a private, paved road with almost no traffic. The result is a peaceful and quiet setting rarely encountered. In fact, the property is known as Aloha Moku Hale Malu, which means Aloha Island House of Peace in the Hawaiian language. Most of the time the loudest sounds come from the abundant songbirds.

Golf: There are three championship golf courses within a 20-minute drive. Ten more, some of which are rated among the finest in the world, are located within an hour's drive.

Beautiful Home away away from Home

What a great place!

This location is perfect for those who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of people and shops. Yet you are only a 2 minute drive to a grocer.

The house is airy and clean and the kitchen really is top notch.
Only issues we had in the Kitchen was the Microwave didn't work, but not such a big deal as I never microwave anyways.
The Bedrooms were roomy, the master has a temperpedic matress which is very comfortable to rest your bones on. The master bath with its outdoor garden shower was a real highlight and such a neat feeling. The second guestroom, was clean and roomy, but the bed itself is of a temporary nature and would probably be comfortable for a kid or 2 but not so much for an adult couple. The bathroom off this bedroom is roomy and the shower was very good as well.

Sitting on the lenai overlooking "our" plantation, the pool and the ocean was a great way to relax from a day snorkling or at the volcano national park. the pool is solar heated and was always a comfortble temperature and was a great place to cool down from the sun.

There is wireless internet throughout the house area, so you can take your laptop and situate it anywhere you like, even by the pool!

I would definitly recommend this place to anyone looking for a private, quiet location that you can escape to from the touristy things on the island. The owners provide loads of details and help and knowledge and are readily available and responsive.

Do eat a Mi's restaurant (italian), it is owned and run by nice couple and they make everything from scratch. The seafood Alfredo was awesome. There is also a good pizza joint close by, Peppi ronis?

Also, the samples of coffee from "Our" plantation are a nice touch and absolutly delicious!

Heaven on earth

This place is fabulous. I love this home!!! We visited 3 islands, and stayed at 4 places, and this home was by far our favorite. It set the bar very high! The kitchen is gorgeous and has everything you need. I don't tend to cook that often, but this gorgeous home inspired me! I would put music on the wonderful sound system, and cook up meals for my family. We would then dine on the large table on the back patio and look out over Kealakekua Bay. My daughter enjoyed setting the table with the beautiful Polynesian style plates. It was wonderful.

We all loved the entertainment center. We watched a few movies on the large screen. They truly have surround sound.

Everyone loved the outdoor shower off the master bedroom. We would follow up the shower with a Jacuzzi.

The home is very close to the Captain Cook Monument. It has the best snorkeling, and we kayaked by many dolphins. It was also an easy drive to the Volcano.

My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer.

Wow! This was the best vacation ever!

My husband was a bit unsure if he wanted to have the 'farm adventure' that I thought would be fun, but he had such a good time he didn't want to leave! The house is lovely (remember the scene in the movie "South Pacific" of the French plantation owner's place? Well, this is it!) and the quiet in the country was an incredible change from our usual life in the city. And, best of all, we were minutes away from snorkeling and kayaking, and had grocery shopping and a terrific restaurant (yes, gourmet!) only five minutes away. We're ready to go back!
