Description of The Keeping Place:
The Keeping Place was once a threshing barn and the huge timber beams are former ship’s timbers some 300-400 years old. The original threshing wheel has been restored and mounted in the dining hall.
Our home consists of an Entrance Lobby, Kitchen with 4 door Aga, Galleried Landing, Dining Hall with CD Player, Drawing Room with log fire and TV/Video, Sitting Room with TV/DVD and double Sofa Bed, Inner Hall with Baby Grand Piano, Rear Lobby, Utility, Master Bedroom with en suite Bathroom, 2nd Master Bedroom with en suite Bathroom (Ground Floor), French doors to Garden, Two Twin Bedrooms with Bathroom, Wet room/Cloakroom (Ground Floor).

We also offer Bed and Breakfast during term time.
We have a French style Double bedroom with single French day bed. Also available is a travel cot. This room has and en-suite bathroom and French doors leading directly onto the walled garden where breakfast will be served on warm summer days. The room has private access.
Rates are from £30 per person per night.
