Charlottetown Stay

In Sept. 2008 we rented this property for 1 week and were were very happy with our selection. So much so that we would rent it again if we have the opportunity to return to PEI. The house has been beautifully restored/updated and is exceptionally clean. The location is ideal. When in the Charlottetown area we just left the car at home and walked absolutely everywhere as everything is within a maximum of 1/2 a dozen blocks. Groceries, restaurants, bars, attractions, it's all there. When eating out we mostly visited the pubs/bars in the area and they were all very good with exceptionally friendly staff. Besides walking around Charlottetown and eating in various establishments we took in a touring theatre production at the Confederation Centre of the Arts, visited the house of parliament and went on a 1 hour double decker bus tour of the town. The bus tour was the only disappointment as the tour guide that we had just wasn't very good. The rest of our time was spent golfing at 4 different golf courses around the island and island site seeing. Having never been to PEI before we were pleasantly surprised to discover that everything we had heard was true and recommend it to anyone who is considering visiting.
