Relatively new home (built in 2002), nestled in the mountainous area within the Maggie Valley Club (golf resort) with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Nice private location with upscale furnishings including a large HD TV with HD Cable service. The cottage-like home is minutes away from Ghost Town (2 adult tickets provided with rental), Cataloochee Ski Resort, Cataloochee Elk Preserve, Smoky Mountains Ntl Park, Cherokee Indian Reservation (Harrah;s Casino), Waynesville, fishing, white water rafting, and more. You will be 60 to 90 minutes from Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge Tennessee, where kids and adults can visit numerous other attractions including Dollywood. Military, law enforcement, and winter discounts available.

Notes: The owners consistently maintain some of the most needed items but cannot guarantee that they will always be there since restocking takes several trips a year, and some renters use more than others. However, for the most part, basic soaps, including laundry soap, sheets, quilted bed covers, and plenty of towels are at the house as well as paper towels, paper dishes, toilet paper, napkins and more. The best source to check this with is through the rental management company (Premier Vacation Rentals LLC) who will confirm that this property is maintained immaculate throughout the year, and stocked better than most. Regardless, and to be sure, the renters are always encouraged to buy the main necessities prior to arrival or thereafter. The living room TV is a new 46-inch Sharp HD TV with HD Cable.

Very affordable for its location and surroundings.: Compare prices of homes in the immediate area within and around the Maggie Valley Club (golf resort), This cottage-like home is situated in a very centralized part of Maggie Valley, within walking distance to the resort and the golf course itself. The house is at a very comfortable elevation peaking at around 3200 feet. Maggie Valley's elevation is at approximately 3000 feet. So, it's just high enough to take in that mountain fresh air and tranquility, but it's low enough to feel comfortable and allow for easier access. The roads (recently re-paved) are paved up to the property's driveway. If snow is a possibility, a 4X4 vehicle will give you more peace of mind, but any vehicle is fine for most of the year.

If you are a golfer or simply enjoy the golf scenery, Casanova's On The Green will be available in the Spring of 2009. The view is extraordinary (180 degree), combining the picturesque golf course, which includes its creek, with its surrounding mountains in the background. The pictures do not do justice to the house. Very pleasant stay, the hosue was well matained and clean.
Owner's Response: This type of review is common for our home. We strive to hear the key words mentioned in this review: Clean, pleasant, and well-maintained. We upgrade to better photos of the place periodically. However, we have had a lot of experience with renting in North Carolina ourselves prior to buying this home and renting it, and have sometimes encountered the opposite effect where owners tend to show photos that actually exaggerate the views of the home as well as its amenities. We try to give the potential renters, through our photos, the most accurate description of our home, conservatively.

Casanova's Mountain Retreat

To anyone who would like to have a wonderful relaxing vacation this is the home for you. It is a lovely new home and beautifully decorated. Rockers on the porch where you can have your morning coffee and watch the fog lift off the mts. and see all the beauty of nature. When you feel like you want to "get away" from all the cares of the world...this it!! It is so easy to drive down the mt. a short piece and you can see all the things that the area has to offer. We have just had our 3rd. time staying there and that speaks for itself. Get busy and pack your bags and enjoy one of the best vacations you will ever have at the Casanova's Mountain Retreat.

Great Place

I have stayed with my family at this cabin several times over the last 5 years and we all love it. We keep going back to it.The owners are always improving it and making it feel like a home away from home. It has always been very clean, and you have everything you could possibly need. You can hear a stream that flows near the front porch, great place for coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening.
It is located where it is easy to get to even in the snow, near very good restaurants, and if golfing is your thing, you are less than 5 minutes from the beautiful Maggie Valley Country Club Golf course. We are already planning our next stay and can't wait to go back.

Excellent Accomodations

My family and I recently traveled to the Smokey Mountains and had a wonderful time. But what made it stress free was arriving at this beautiful cottage which is centrally located to so many nearby attractions. The home is meticulously decorated and features all of the comforts of home. And I have to mention that it was the cleanest home I have ever been in.

One stroll through the community will allow you the opportunity to forget your troubles and take in the splendid natural beauty of the mountains and nearby streams.

I will definitely rent this home again the next time we visit the area.
