Awesome vacation spot

My husband and I and another couple stayed here for a week in August 2009. The location is wonderfully remote and it was very quiet all week - this area seems to be made up of mostly residents. We spent the days at the boathouse enjoying the sun, inner tubes and water. We didn't leave for the entire week, although we had plans for hiking, perhaps Dollywood, and other things, but why leave, we thought?
The house was very well equipped and the beds were the most comfortable we ever experienced in a vacation home (or hotel, for that matter).
The deck was awesome to hang out on and we spent many late nights there watching the stars and talking.
The owner was very responsive to my questions and our concerns once we got to the house (firewood and detergent refills). The canoe, included in the rental, and inner tubes were priceless.
We rented a pontoon boat one day at the nearby marina - totally worth it to go explore some coves.
There are really no restaurants nearby so make sure you have food enough for a few days.
It's tricky to see the turn where this development is - keep your eyes peeled!
We will all definitely return. I've looked at many properties and this is the best of the lake rentals. The views, amenities, comfort and solitude are so worth it.
