Santa Fe Opera is just 15-20 minutes away and is a Summer long event, stop at Tesuque Market on your way to the Opera for dinner or a picnic lunch. The Santa Fe/Aspen Ballet is a yearly event and within walking. Indian Market Aug 22-23rd, the largest in the country with over 1,000 Native People from around the world here showing and selling their items, this event takes place in the Plaza area only a 5 minute walk so no need for a car. Come July it is SF International Folk Art Market , and Spanish Market
Beginning in October has the Albuquerque Hot Air Balloon Event with the balloon park on the Santa Fe side of Abq. easy drive for the event and than back to sanity in SF. Fall Foliage up Artist Road for hiking, biking, 10,000 Waves Spa only 1 block from the turn and 20/25 mins to Ski Santa Fe.
From the Plaza short walk to Canyon Road for fine galleries and Fine Dining, little need for a car for basic SF locations.
Golf:
Santa Fe has over 6 World Class Courses within 20 min to hour drive. Buffalo Thunder Golf Course only 20 mins away.
Museums/Art Galleries:
Major museums within walking from this property, include Georgia OKeeffe, Museum of Fine Arts, Palace of the Governors, Loretto Chapel with the MIracle Stairway, not to mention 250/400 World Class Galleries.
Canyon Road is a 5 minute walk from the Plaza Area all of this without the need for a car.
Walk to Lincoln Ave.1 block from the house for the local bus transportation center for a Museum Hill Bus that will take you up Santa Fe Trail or Pecos Trail for more museums.
Rail Runner Trains now run from Santa Fe to Albuquerque with shuttle bus service available at both stops

Drive 1 block to Artist Road turn and drive 20/25 mins to Ski Santa Fe, Skiing and Snow Boarding
Drive 1 hr to Taos for World Class Skiing and Boarding
